was diamond 4/3 in 7.1 now i'm diamond1 in 7.2

the definition of getting carried was so fucking useless the entire game, it felt like i was playing an AFK champion

like you could guess i lost lane against jayce, his AA removed nearly 10% hp despite starting with cloth armor and having the highest armor at level 1 in the game I got ganked at level 3 and died cause this champ has no escape then what happened? my team happened, jhin won bot lane and orianna destroyed viktor mid lane enemy jayce rushed executiner after youmu, making me more useless

basically what did i do in the game? Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q all i did was Q healing and surviving that's all

fuck this champ i'm not playing him anymore because riot decides that it's fun to nerf champs for low elo i'm going to play him on a gold smurf or something cause this is what riot wants me to do

Welcome to everybody who ever had to play a melee champion against Darius pre-nerf.

...and? Your restatement of my restatement changes literally nothing. Are you suggesting that unless Darius automatically wins every lane ever without a doubt, then he's useless? Or are you simply ignoring the fact that you seem to have meaningfully contributed to your team's success because you feel bad about not completely taking over lane and the game after that?

Like, people have bad games, dude. Trust me, having games where you get countered and the jungler decides to shit on you and everything snowballs from there is not unusual, and feeling down about a champ after a game like that isn't strange either.

Is there anything you're actually driving at here?

low elo = 90% of the community, it only makes sense they consider low ELO when they balance the game. THey cant ruin the fun for everyone just cause some top 1% wanna have fun.

Also @ plat + darius has a winrate almost at 50% so its not like they completely trashed him.

As a low ELO player, it makes no sense that good players should be punished just because some noob doesn't want to take the time to learn how to deal with a champion. Darius wasn't even that big of a problem top lane. There are other champs FAR worse than Darius. But noobs sit and try to 1v1 him at level 1 and get fucked and cry that he is OP. The game should not be balanced around players that die 3 times and STILL all in the enemy laner. Makes no sense.

Now, I'm not going to say Darius is useless like Op is saying. He might be weak at high elo, sure, but I wouldn't take 1 matchup against Jayce (not sure how this champ isn't nerfed) as the end all about balance discussion on a melee champion. But to say that since 90% of the players suck at this game that a champ should be hindered at high elo because of it, is not very smart.

Look, darius is another argument. I never thought darius should be nerfed.

But im talking about balancing around different elo's, and you're talking about balancing darius, both of which are 2 different topics.

And, lets not forget, we do get punished because a certain champion is too good in high ELO.

Sometimes the reverse happens, and high elo gets punished because some champs too good for low ELO.

Thats how it works sadly, you have to trade off one for the other.
