Why do a lot of junglers take sudden impact instead of ghost ward or eyeball collection?

It's a tier 1 rune on the domination tree, so given that it isn't as powerful as the 2nd tier which has the 12 AD or 30 AP once you get 10 ward kills or 10 kills/assists.

I can understand if you are playing a champion with built in armor pen, or if they build cleaver, but even then a lot of these champs tend to have huge AD ratios.

If you wanted to be safe, you could take zombie ward and start with a red trinket and probably get some early ward kills, by just seeing where someone put a ward, as a lot of people place it infront of peoples faces.

AP champs like Eve kinda benefit from it, but she isn't that good at killing wards and eyeball collection can be kinda all-iny. People tend not to build so much magic resist and it works pretty well with sorc shoes + morellos + her W potentially. It is also a flat value which is more value than the lethality as the lethality takes a bit to scale up decently. AP Champs it tends to be the go-to simply because of how AP champs have easier access to magic pen in general as well.

So yer. Was just wondering as eyeball or more so zombie ward is likely pretty consistent and would help with everything such as tower kills, jungle monsters, and champions without any type of cooldown or special interaction to proc it.

12 AD isn't as good as 8 lethality. Also, you don't have to build anything. The lethality is there whenever you dash

Because it's extra killing power. In low elo, the vision is generally utilized less efficiently, so the extra damage can be better.

Also, the t1, t2, and t3 runes aren't all inherently stronger or weaker than one-another. They're mostly grouped based on theme (Such as the vision or hunter rows in Domination, or the Legend row in Precision) or what Riot doesn't want to be coupled with specific runes (such as second wind and bone plating in Resolve).
