We're past halfway through midseason and I still feel inspired to try new champs just to see if a particular idea for a rune-setup will work well with them.
Thank you Riot for producing a runes system that can be inspiring to experiment with even after people have optimized the hell out of it.
old runes and masteries had a lot more customization.
I agree, with runes like predator and glacial augment i can have fun playing champs i would have never otherwised picked up. i'm glad there is someone else here that enjoys the new run system
New runes provide more custom options, more comfortable and viable options on ALL champions. The only flaw? They provide too much damage and damage growth. That needs to be adressed as much as snowballish items do.
I personally think the Runes Reforged update is the worst change that has ever come to League and is a large part of the reason I don't play the game anymore.
