Yes riot, because you totally needed to give her yet another indirect nerf by fixing the stormrazor bug on her passive when she was already awful.

Good one.

Also add another option of reporting on trolling : picking tristana or caitlyn (or really any adc that isnt lucian) in a ranked game.

Varus is also going to suffer even further with the Rageblade nerfs (currently 46.49% winrate), waiting to see how much he's going to drop as soon as 8.13 statistics will be available on OP.GG

Tristana currently sitting at a 42.67% winrate lol

Thing is before all the marksman nerfs, when Riot give Varus W an Active they said... That they would give him a buff or something if his winrate drops even further or if he doesn't improve once Crit marksman are nerfed. He reached the worst stage possible and still no buffs to my boy </3

Them fixing a bug is not the problem(why shouldn't they fix it? it was not intended). The problem was not accounting for its contribution to her performance.

If Caitlyn needs buffs then she should get them. However, it's still good that they fixed the bug because you shouldn't have to rely on a bug to keep a good win rate.

Indeed.

Same thing happened to Thresh last season.

He had a bug where enemies who were hit by his Flay ability were briefly stunned for a moment after being displaced.

Patch 7.15 bought the following change -

Flay BUG FIX: No longer leaves enemies stunned for a brief moment after displacing them.

He dropped from like a 52-53% win rate down to like a 47-48% solely because of a bug fix.

Well, Riot themselves said they're hesitant to but Caitlyn because she't the literal gatekeeper of bot lane. Whoever can't compete with her in lane is not going to be viable.

So expect her to stay in the gutter for at least 3 more months.

Yes, they did. Leaving a Champion bugged intentionally is never the right choice, regardless of how the bugfix affects their strength.

A bug is a bug and a champions functionality should not be reliant on a bug.

Like Meddler said, the problem with Caitlyn is she dictates bot lane way too much when she's strong.

I'd be happy with them cutting her attack range down a bit and giving her power in her abilities.

When Caitlyn has 100-150 attack range advantage on the meta ADC's and even the non meta ADC's she dictates the flow of the lane way too much.

Make her 600 range like Ashe and add power elsewhere.

No champion deserves to be gutted but I strongly believe Caitlyn needs to be reworked.
