I Miss Zephyr.

Seriously. Tenacity, just makes the game better. Right now Assassins are running rampant and youre getting champions like TahmKench who can just permaslow you. Everything right now is a CC fest into getting you in place for the opposing teams assassin.

It's either have TahmKench permaslow you into the enemy MissFortune ult, or a freakin 600 ms runic Udyr stunning you every 2 seconds, or a Lux that will just stay under tower and will snare anything that she sees.

Literally, please bring back Zephyr. There was nothing wrong with it. I'm sure a Billion more people will buy it now that they have all these annoying cc champs that will keep you in place for their assassin to finish you.

Plus, it also had great stats. The tenacity was just the icing. Attack speed and movement speed, attack damage and CDR. This was my first rushed item when I play Aatrox. Heck, even Udyr and Shyvana use it. Can we please bring this back to rival item 3124.

Literally, every single attack speed champ builds rageblade right now. Bring back ZEPHYR!

Edit: Now, now while I do admit Zephyr had its flaws, I do wish it was just reworked instead of just removed. Having the tenacity on it was just super good. Maybe it could be reworked into a bruiser item. Attack speed, CDR, Ms, armor, tenacity.

Stinger (1200g) item 3101 is such a cool item. It is a shame it only builds into an AP item.

Also I tried double stinger once. Very fun. It is a shame its CDR is unique for no good reason.

I think the removal of Zephyr was brash, especially considering the void of options non hybrid fighters have for attack speed needs.

Something like item 3137 is needed. (I think this item is OP... well not as OP as the new Sash on SR... Maybe this item or something very similar should be on SR now... Tho mr specific sounds lame....)

How about a strong HP/AS item? Some hp and a lot of AS... Like that ADCs should still prefer their crit choices right?

To be fair, there's no way for me to see exactly how often you built Zephyr, but I can see your ranked games with Aatrox, where you only built Zephyr 2 out of 10 games before it was removed. You played more Nocturne and Trundle than Aatrox, and while you were building AD, Attack Speed, and sometimes even Tenacity on them, you never built Zephyr. I didn't look through all of your ranked games, and it's possible you build Zephyr much more frequently in normals for some reason, but I think you're overestimating how much you used it.

There may have been "nothing wrong with it," but that's not the reason Riot removed Zephyr in the first place. The full explanation is in the 5.22 patch notes, but a summary is that Riot tries to get rid of some items every preseason for design trust (players should be able to trust that items are cost-efficient and not extremely situational) and design clutter (having a lot of niche items hides actual balance problems on champions).

I built Zephyr on all attack speed champs in normals. During Ranked, I didn't need Zephyr as much, because champs like Tahm werent even released yet. There was no need for Tenacity. Now that Tahm and Udyr are running rampant. I think we all need Tenacity again.

Tahm was actually out for 4 months before Zephyr was removed, but I don't think that's even a very valid reason. Control heavy champions have been around for a really long time. Morgana has been a staple support for the past 2 seasons, and there's no real indication that she's getting weaker. Annie, Veigar, Syndra, etc., are all cc heavy. And it isn't just control mages. Tenacity is huge against Nasus, Irelia, Amumu, Sejuani, and Ashe, as well as many others.

People might need tenacity again, and Riot might even release a new tenacity item in the near future, but I don't think that it will be Zephyr, or even similar to Zephyr.

If you really feel that tenacity would significantly improve your enjoyment of the game, there's still Irelia, Mundo, Mercury Treads, and Elixir of Iron. You could also try out Olaf and Master Yi, who have the ability to ignore cc for a duration.

I feel like they should have just reworked it into a tank item. There's plenty of tanks that I'd like to have some attack speed on but aside from Dervish on 3v3, there's no attack speed item that gives any real defenses.

Wit's End is pretty situational, but it can be a nice pick up for attack speed reliant tanks sometimes. If your team and the enemy team are both AP heavy (pretty rare these days), it's fantastic because it actually steals Magic Resist from the people you hit and gives it to you.

the passive still exist on a different item. i think captain enchantment on boots give that as well.

old captaisn boosted the movement speed of minions. Got removed with the season 5 baron changes.

It was fantastic on AD malz for giving his vodilings a speed buff item 3070

Thats why we should nerf rageblade back to the hybrid item it once was and reintroduce Zephyr back with tweaked stats so that it would become the hybrid attack/defense item.

I liked Zephyr, but it was never something I would really get possibly ever really. It only worked on ones that needed attack speed, but for me I never got it. Didn't give damage or lifesteal. BoRK gives AD, AS, and lifesteal. For me that was a much better option. And if you needed tenacity, you got the boots. But this is just my opinion

Let's not suddenly pretend people would suddenly pick an item that wasn't popular and only served to make certain split pushing AA's fairly obnoxious.

It might see a bit of play at re-release but then pretty quickly that will drop when the goggles come off and everyone sees how bad it is.

We definitely need more tenacity options.

What do we have now? item 3111 and swiftness/resolve tier 5 mastery - which is only available for tanks. Nothing more.

I just want an as item that gives as only and no crit. The only items that do that now are item 3091 which suck now, item 3142 which only gives as on its passive and item 3153 which doesnt give much as. I miss the old item 3085
