So I finally had a game with open Skarner
And holy shit Riot fools, do you even play your own game? Or just watch LCS?
How da fuck this thing can be even crawling free right now.

I jungled against a skarner last night. I started late due to serverfuntimes, and I still beat him pretty hard. He is strong, but definitely can be played against. Btw I was playing trolljungle Morgana. If she can take him he can't be that bad.
Skarner's winrate right now is 63%. I've definitely come around to the "winrate doesn't tell a complete story" camp, but imo 63% is well above the line for "yeah, this is overtuned."
Keep in mind that's on the NA server. Something about NA's meta seems to make him pretty strong. If you check the Korea server it's much a lower 56%. Still high but not nearly as high. To me that suggests that many of us don't have the slightest clue how to play against skarner and were perfectly happy forgetting he was even in the game.
Further supporting that theory is that his winrate is dropping post-release. Last time I saw a post like this it was 66%. People are adjusting to a mildly overtuned champion right now. He should receive nerfs, I just don't think he's as wildly OP as his NA winrate suggests.
Typically in my elo I would always rock people as skarner before the buffs. Part of the problem I think with him is people didnt know how to deal with him before because not many people played him then all the sudden he got way stronger. Kind of like the elise buff.
Its because the PBE testers were retarded, not riot. They conplained about him being UNDERPOWERED so Riot buffed him, just like what happend with Yasuo. Anyway, there's a hotfix coming out.
