It's fine if Riot believes Eve's a balanced champion... but she could still use a little buff.

Eve right now has like a 48.85% winrate and her pickrate is less than 3%. Even Eve one tricks are barely breaking past 50% WR on her. (according to champion.gg)

The thing with Eve is that she has to snowball early game... but early game she's very weak outside of a cheese invade. If you don't get that early invade kill on the enemy jungler or choose not to invade, her clearing leaves her low and out of mana. And it's totally shit until she completes her jungle item. Despite the fact that she's supposed to be strong early game.

I suggest that Riot revert the nerf adding a mana cost on her W. It's not necessary anymore since Runeglaive was removed and Runic Echoes was added and nerfed, and it won't break her. It'll just ease up her mana hungriness- which will benefit lower elo players more than higher elo ones.

I'll admit I'm not the greatest player in the world, but if Eve REALLY doesn't need a buff, she's still TOTALLY inaccessible for lower brackets of play. And Riot said with Ryze they weren't okay with that. (He was strong in competitive but weak in soloq) I sometimes watch high elo Eve players and they kite around the camps in a really weird way to avoid damage. I get that they're preventing the camps from resetting, but that is REALLY hard to do. Not to mention the coordination with her team Eve needs to function...

Well, if I'm wrong, I would appreciate some tips for her at least.

The only thing I wish is her detection radius was shorter, like make it the range of her q or something. Right now it kinda sucks. Unless the enemy is VERY BAD you can't get to anyone at all, and unlike Kha/Rengar she can't just jump on top of you.

Well Eve is considered to be thematically inconsistent, and it shows in her kit. Her kit doesn't work as an assassin's should, and this is something that I believe is being addressed with a VGU next year. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some kind of band-aid patch until then though. I feel like lowering some mana costs wouldn't hurt until we get an updated Eve.

evelynn has never been much a xin zhao type of champion that just run in and try to 100-0 someone she, but evelynn top was a different story of a champion, who could proxy waves, steal jungle camps all well giving everyone night mares because nobody knew where she would be

ex. random tp homegaurd to bot lane and obliterate the enemy marksman. But with each patch of the seasons removing trailblaizer then W mana cost homegaurd item removal she found herself really struggling, sure she could still lane decently.

Though her options and ability to gain leads in lane were gutted to praying she could cheese the enemy jungler at gromp buff and smite it which now unless you have a jungle item wont get you to level 2 if she gets caught she can't W away she can proxy still luckily.

but with this season it's never been more risky because the only way your going to get good vision is with a pink which can be spotted easily level 1

I've not really been having many issues farming early-game. Once I have Hunter's Talisman, Hunter's Machete and Hunter's Potion I can generally stay near full health while clearing.

I don't really like Runic Echoes on her though (but I never have been a fan of AP Evelynn). I find it leaves me too squishy and I have to kite around the edges of fights.

I much prefer building Warrior into Iceborn Gauntlet for CDR, damage and sticking potential. If I get some offensive/defensive items afterwards (i.e. Banshee's Veil, Maw of Malmortius, Titanic Hydra, etc), I can generally stick around in fights and duel people quite well.

Also, the mana provided by Iceborn Gauntlet is generally enough to solve my mana issues, even with the increased spam due to 30% CDR.

If you want to duel people and/or snowball, I'd highly recommend taking Skirmisher's Sabre (true damage and damage reduction) and Ignite. It is very difficult to stand against Evelynn early-game when she has both of them and you provide a lot more damage in ganks and invades.

Eve is not balanced, she's with Yorick and Urgot; kept underpowered because their kits are unfun when they are strong. When an Eve chooses to gank you, there's really nothing you can do to see it coming. You can put a pink ward down, but she simply kills that ward and comes back a short time later. Being able to circumvent non-pink warding with her passive, even when she doesn't know the ward is there, takes up an enormous amount of her power budget. Vision is strong, and being able to defeat that vision is even stronger. Even stronger than mobility; since you can at least put a ward down to see that Rammus streaking down river to get you.

Riot's long term solution is probably a kit rework on a Sion-level scale. She's most likely in the line with Yorick and Warwick as we speak. Which means we probably won't see any significant changes until next season at the earliest.

Riot's short term solution is to make her so weak it doesn't matter if you can't see her until she's already in your lane. Less "gank" and more "oh hey, a sexy cannon minion appeared!"
