Is Locking The Scuttle In Place Considered Skill Or a Glitch?

The Guy i play with has shown me a pretty reproduce-able way to not have to chase the scuttle crab by wedging it into the wall. Is this considered a glitch or something that is known to be done?

there have been ways to do it since the beginning of season 5 and seeing as how it hasn't been fixed completely i say it is fair game.
