I think everyone complaining about Annie should go play DotA2.

Not in a 'get out of my game!' way, but just as a learning exercise. Are you finding that you get wrecked in teamfights by flash Annie ult? Then go play against Magnus or Enigma. You will learn, very quickly, how to avoid clumping up. They have longer AoE stuns, and with blink dagger, they can do it every time their stun is up, not just every time their stun is up and flash is up.

No, you can't always survive a 1v1 if she burns flash, but she no longer has flash for the next couple of minutes, so get your jungler to gank, or just get really aggressive and rely on your flash to save you.

People should go play dota anyway, learn about last hitting and better positioning. You'll be a better LoL player.

Have you played Dota 2? Champion/hero attacks speeds are comparatively incredibly slow. Last hitting with ranged heroes is like playing an Annie to a Soraka - with the mages last hitting like Soraka and the shooters "ADC" shooting slightly fast than Annie. In other words, it's really fucking hard. It takes much more effort than in League. It certainly improved by last hitting in League of Legends after I played it.

What makes you think you can't learn that in LoL. Last hitting and positioning are just as key in LoL as they are in Dota.

LH are much harder in dota. Almost no hero can use skills to farm creep waves at low lvls. You actually have to right click down a creep. If you are ranged you tend to have lower base dmg, allowing non ranged ppl to LH better. The enemy team can deny you LH, so you are actually competing for LH not playing a farming game against the bot.

As for positioning, most ppl played unlocked cam, no free flash, not too many mobility kits, fog, invis, etc. There are a lot more ways to die in dota, more lockdown and more ways to gank. All of this makes positioning a lot harder since you get punished for being bad at it.

What I like is that league is right in the middle of the MOBAS

Heros of the storm is a babied down version where there is little to no toxic people

League of Legends is a meduim range of skill and somewhat toxic behavior

Dota you need skill, only to not understand the mechanics and then have alot of toxic people

^ This. If anything I've noticed more toxic people in Heroes even in just the Co-op vs AI mode!

Not to many people talk about smite (I know you said Strife, but it brought smite to mind) Idk what kind of toxic stuff that games has.

Smite pretty good. I feel like they're a second League of Legends. Not in game play but in community and game development stages. They're going along really well. It's a very different - and therefore difficult - style of play.

Strife is bad because it has terrible characters with terrible game play. The graphics and boringness of the game makes me cry.

I've also played Dead Island Epidemic. It's not too bad but League of Legends is better and I didn't it was worth my time.

Of all the mobas, I really want to try smite (cant because I have a Mac) because when you get frustated with league I would like a diffrent moba, I find heros to easy and Im not a big fan of dota.

Dota 2 is fun when the enemy team isn't BMing you and spawn camping you. Or when the enemy team isn't abysmally shitting on your crappy teammates to a point where you can't even play properly because they just delete you. It started to happen to me more often and found that improving was impossible with the landslide loses I was having so I stopped playing it. I thought I was good at it because my first Public Game I won with a landslide of 11 kills and like 8 deaths or something similar.

lol League has somewhat toxic behaviour while 10/10 losing games you have the jungler talking shit to the solo, while bot lane threatens mid laner mom's life. Nice one, somewhat toxic behaviour

MOBA players should generally try to learn Dota 2 first. It's the hardest MOBA I've played and it did help me get better at League. My favourites would be: Silencer because his kit is so troll. Omniknight because he's a League of Legends Champion. (ez) Phantom Lancer because his abilities are kewl.

They should take away Tristana's line "Thanks for clumping" and give it to Annie; will make more sense on her. When she ults and hits all 5 enemy players have it so that they can all hear it. This way they will hopefully think "maybe if we don't stay so close together we can beat her."

Im not saying that Annie is OP, but in Dota2, Magnus and Enigma cant oneshot. Especially with carries in Dota being also most tanky heroes in their team.

Hellioning3 votes

Maybe they can't get a rampage by themselves, but Magnus can do a lot of damage with RP into Shockwave, AND he can then knock your entire team into his tower. And Enigma does a surprising amount of damage if he can Midnight Pulse first.

It's not really a MOBA but has anyone heard of: Savage 2: A Tortured Soul?

I think it's a really good game. It mixes Warcraft III with First/Third Person HackNSlash/Shooting. Its commanding gameplay is far more basic than Warcraft III but its HackNSlash is solid with a variety of units with their abilities. You really feel like you are in war - with applies strategies, not some COD, sometimes. I've had way better Epic Feels in Savage 2 than in League of Legends or any other game.

Too bad it's main supporter S2 Games quit acknowledging it and its recent supporter S2Stony gave up trying to popularize it for over 3 years and now it's in essentially a coma state.

Yea let's spice that argument with a different game. That should calm the people down.
