One of the worst things you can do when you fall behind in lane

If you make a mistake or whatever and fall behind in lane, DO NOT completely forgo your build and go fully defensive (unless you were going full defense anyways). You need your core items.

Say you are Jinx, if you are being bullied by the ap support, do not rush a , at most build . You need your core items in order to do well. That means toughing it out somewhat or play a bit safer until you get them. Not go defensive to try to live because you will not deal the needed damage then. is a good 3-4 item purchase. Not a first or second.

This is true if you're playing an ADC.

If you get killed by Tryndamere in lane as Garen and you rush a black cleaver though? You're being an idiot who is just going to get buttstomped even harder.

If you play Yasuo and you're against a hard match-up like Malz and you don't get a hexdrinker (especially if the jungler also does magic damage), you're basically inting.

Does not mean it's viable in any way. Relic shield got nerfed for ADCs and it's no longer a reasonable first item.

This seems to be true for everyone except fighters who are expected to turn into tanks no matter what and anytime another squishy class has to do this they are 'weak' and get emergency buffs. Exceptions are Melee ap bruisers. If you dont rush item 3211 versus Rumble or Mordekaiser you 'arent respecting their damage' but if they get beat in lane Rito bring back Morde Rumble they arent who they used to be.
