Sterak's Gage - "It’s a smidge weak for its price tag"

Gee I wonder why? It's almost like you nerfed it into the ground or something...why not rebuff it, and make it melee only for goodness sake!? (return the price tag too). It has absolutely no place being purchased on ranged champions anyway, and their abuse of it is why the item was nerfed in the first place! Yeah you might say "Oh but it's fine!" except it could be better! Why do some champions have to have sub-par items because others can abuse them? The fact the price is being lowered because "It’s a smidge weak for its price tag" only helps to illustrate how backwards the balance approach to this is.

Just me or are price decreases for final items(i.e items that can't be upgraded further) essentially pointless?

So they nerfed Sterak and lowered the cost.

Big whoop - you can still only fit 5 items + boots on your Champion. It is still not worth picking up an overnerfed item no matter how cheap you make it.

Much like Warmog's Armor, there should be an HP minimum for having the passive of Sterak's Gage.

I have never understood this "abuse" mindset.

All items are bought from the shop, with gold, for the express purpose of providing statistical and mechanical benefits to your champion. How is this different from any other item bought by any champion?

Sterak's isn't even a great buy for marksmen, it's arguably worse than item 3026.
