@Riot Why do you think trying to push players into Flex Queue is a good idea!?
Take away Normal Draft and hope to entice those players into Flex Queue...why!? That won't be good for either group of players, Normal Draft players or Flex Queue players.
Players who partake in Normals Queues more than Ranked do so BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO PLAY RANKED! It doesn't matter what type of environment you're trying to make with FlexQ, it's a Ranked Queue! And that sentiment alone is enough to discourage those who simply don't want the intense competitive experience. Some people just...wanna play League of Legends. They don't want to deal with the stress and highly competitive environment that is Ranked.
Hence Normal Draft allows for the best Queuing experience but without the Ranked burden, perfect! What's not to like about that? Why do you want to kill something that's brilliant?! This seems like a move that's absolutely determined to piss off players (once again, I might add). C'mon you were doing so well with some of the Season 7 changes (replays, SoloQ, practice mode), but then you had to squat down and pinch off this chocolate steamer in people's faces.
Blind Pick only has ONE advantage over Draft. Queue speed. Nothing else. I get it, that's a big advantage but it's the only string to Blind's bow. But do you know what would fix Draft's low participation and high queue times? Removing Blind pick. Like I said it has but a single advantage that will easily be transferred over to Normal Draft. With all your vast amounts of data you couldn't clock that?
C'mon now your hot streak of good stuff had just started.
