No, because Cho'Gath was not seen much in LCS, so they had to over buff him to see someone new. So they probably gonna nerf him after worlds because fuck live if it isn't balanced we still gotta see in LCS first.

I'd personally just like to see a stoneplate nerf more than any character nerfs. Make it so that the HP bonus doesn't apply to things like locket/cho's ulti (potentially turn it into a self-shield), then they can fiddle with the balance afterwards.

It wouldn't work unless Riot just flat out removed the HP it gives you. Because it increases your HP, HP scaling items and abilities become more potent (Cho's ult, Naut's W etc.). The only thing they can do is lessen it or remove it (without blanket nerfing champions that use it).

Making it a self shield would make it overlap with Locket's active.

the only thing they need to do is tweak chos scaling on his ult.

the interaction that stoneplate and his own stacks is he gains true damage via HP

his ult has a + 10% damage from HP on all ranks . removed this scaling and its a non issue

Which in turn I'd be happy with. The thing people are complaining about when it comes to HP-stackers in this meta isn't so much their kits themselves, but how they interract with the stoneplate. Dissolving that link would allow rito to better evaluate their kits, as I can guarantee many of them (specifically cho, whose kill potential is literally none outside of locket+ulti) would be quite balanced if not need a direct buff.
