Worlds shows you don’t need to do well to get leads

If you have a problem, be it a weak lane or the opposing player is simply better, all you need to do is just goon squad, get a lead, and dive crap endlessly because no one can defend towers.

Honestly, something needs to be done about this. If goon-squadding is so easy that it’s the premiere strategy at pro level, it should be changed. It is a cheap gimmick that calling it a strategy is being too generous. It’s the “strategy” equivalent of Master Yi - something that only works when players do not know how to counter it.

As for towers. They need a new way to be defended.

As is the contest is decided before the first hit is dealt. If you don’t have waveclear strong enough to clean the minions within the first 3 seconds, you can’t contest.

Frankly, both of these things are completely asinine when the amount of gold you get off turrets is far too generous for how easy it is to raze them to the ground

God help you if you pick something with no dashes

Yeah EDG deathballed really hard in this match. And they always had the vision and ability to catch c9 out early.

Wish I could see a waveclear/disengage/Split comp once Like trundle or Nasus top, anivia mid, sivir adc, Gragas jg, janna supp. But it probably loses teamfights to meta comps.
