I'm getting kind of tired of B-liner champions like Vladimir, Garen, and Mundo

You deal damage to them but they come right back at you full force and infinitely push lane like it's nothing.

GW and CC?

Handy Sandy 1 votes

gw isn't even counterplay anymore it's barely noticeable now.

Madsin251 votes

It is 100% counterplay and completely shuts down lane trundle, hence he had to move to the jg to get away from it. It is also 100% mandatory for mundo now or he will run your whole team down.

But yea if ur building GW to try and counter vlad you just wasted 800 gold.

trundle's healing compared to other champions isn't that big of a deal

Try building gw against DrMundo Nasus Warwick and see where it gets you. Too many times have I witnessed them being ahead, my team having one of the two GW items, and then they just refuse to go past 50% health in an actual 1v5.

The only thing gw is good for now is against like adcs not named Draven or Graves that get bloodthirster.

I totally understand GW is pretty useless, but if you don't get it vs a mundo you just might aswell surrender.

Vladimir is one of the most toxic champions to play against after 20 minutes. With decent team coordination, he can destroy ANY team with almost 0 counterplay.

He has cases where he can be extremely strong, but that could be said for a lot of champions. There's times where he's also extremely weak, such as lane matchups where he can be consistently engaged on, or teams that he can't close in on due to having no CC on his own. Something like Irelia and a well played Gnar can dumpster him before he has a chance to reach his mid / lategame stride. Executioner's Calling, mobile teams, interrupting his E when he's not in a good position, and Hexdrinker all contribute to hurting his midgame.

Snowman Arc1 votes

Yeah, his early game can be shaky, but I was talking more about when he gets Shurelia's and Ghost and just runs to the enemy team while having a lot of damage, not being able to be stopped easily and having the option to become untargetable while healing to full.

Maybe don't waste on mana on their HP then.

instead save it for jungler gank. or if they all in you. or if you wanna roam. or to push the minion wave. or to last hit under tower.

Basically dont waste your time on something they'll just regen effortlessly unless you're planning a jungle gank before they have the time to regen it example : jungler is clearing 1 camp then on their way to you. You'll prob have time to poke them down and they wont be able to healup before jungle gank

if the counter to a lane opponent is to not interact with them AT ALL then that seems like bad and boring design, it's the same reason why yorick was reworked, there was no reason to interact with him because of his infinite sustain

In other words: Survive Roam Push Farm

Instead of desperately trying to win lane and you'll be fine, yes?

Garen I don't have a problem with. You can stop his healing by constantly attacking him.

Vlad and Mundo on the other hand...

Baka Red1 votes

If Vlad and Mundo are your problem, you might want to try these so called Grievous Wounds.

Warlord Rhinark1 votes

I'm not complaining that they heal a lot.

I'm complaining that there is no way, OTHER THAN BUYING GRIEVOUS WOUNDS, to counter their healing.

Whilst with Garen you can just hit him.

Baka Red1 votes

Eh, well, if you want to counter their healing without buying an item against them, you can try some champions that have grievous wounds on their kit. I would not count on your success chance with that though. I prefer the easy to buy executioner myself. :)

Warlord Rhinark1 votes

I don't want a way to reduce their healing.

I want a way to STOP their healing.

Baka Red1 votes

Sorry, but you cannot always get what you want.

Vlad cant do anything early for damage or sustain, garen has to essentially back out of exp/gold range to heal up, and mundo can really only heal after level 6.

Mr Mxyzptlk1 votes

Vladimir's early can be a little rough but its not bad in anyway. The problem with Vladimir is more of that he can constantly punish and heal simultaneously with low cool downs and a moving invulnerability as a back up escape tool with zero repercussions whatsoever. With his passive he's also rewarded health for building AP on top of the fact that he already builds extra health through AP items. He has no mana cost to limit his abilities usage and the health cost on abilities becomes irrelevant once you get item 3152 and item 3020. He pretty much has everything handed to him for free once he gets into a certain state of the game.

Pika Fox1 votes

Ever since his rework, vlads pre level 6 has been awful. He cant even sustain himself unless you get a 3rd Q proc on an enemy champion.

Nanuk Pihoqahiak1 votes

Are we playing the same game? I don't mean to come off as rude, but his early cooldowns are horrendously long. Q - 9 (Which as of a few patches ago, draws minion aggro. This hurts the effective sustain he receives from it.) W - 28 E - 13 respectably. There's a lot of lane matchups that he has to farm out until midgame due to how fragile he is. If he gets his pool baited or oversteps at the wrong time, he'll just get run down by melee with strong mobility or all in.

And honestly, I believe the problem with Vladimir is that most people are afraid to fight him. A lot of people sit in lane thinking, "Omg! He's sucking the life out of me! Too much sustain!" But honestly, there's plenty of opportunities to outplay him, counterbuild him, and make him as miserable as he can make others.

I will admit though that he's a character you don't want to give kills to. That could be said for any character, but you won't be recovering your lane on your own if you feed early against him.

Madsin251 votes

Ironic because there is nothing vlad can do against garen or mundo.

You want to beat vlad? play the other two champs you are complaining about.

You want to beat garen or mundo? Well I have no fucking idea.

KlydeFrog1 votes

I dunno i play morde and it works because they cant do anything to you

Spoofghoul1 votes

i'm tired of 700 range ADC's with mobility and selfpeel Outwalking me because they clearly need tripple the movepeed boosts i can get on melee champs

But let's nerf poppy and Sion instead because their play rate went over 2% Meanwhile it's fine when other champs have 60% with higher win and ban rates

B line champions might be annoying at times But rito's B line balance decision are a lot more retarded if we are honest here
