Can we please impliment a "vote dodge" so that way you can avoid punishment if your team just agrees that, if we go into the game we are screwed anyway? It's so annoying watching people troll, and then get away with it because nobody wants to sit through 20 minutes of getting stomped. 4 out of 5 people agree to dodge, and nobody gets penalized.

It's the same as the Season 3 free dodges, it promotes dodge wars every time you don't get your way and makes it a lot harder to get into a game.

You could just vote dodge if your team gets outpicked or countered, people already do it since it's only -3LP for the first dodge, but if it was free then you'd need to go through 4 drafts and make sure your team doesn't counter theirs too hard or they'll just vote dodge.

There'a certain strategic element in picking that free dodges would just completely invalidate. And there's really no reason not to agree to a free dodge if their teamcomp is better or counters yours. And this isn't just something I'm making up, some people are already doing it because aueue dodging penalties are far too light on the 1st dodge. Streamers like Valkrin actually advise to dodge at least once per day(like when you get countered) to improve your winrate. Free dodges would only make it even easier.
Besides, you shouldn't get more than 1 intentional troll per 40ish games, and you can't play that much in a single day. 3 LP and no MMR is a really cheap price, unless you're quick to label people who did badly once or pick something unusual as "trolls".

redniwediS2 votesYour idea here does not fix the problem. The problem you're spotlighting is trolls in champion select. Legalizing a form of dodging will do nothing to stop trolls, but will allow people to enforce the meta as they see fit. This does not strike me as a good idea.
Perhaps we do need a way to protect the good parts of our community from trolls, but it needs to be done in a way that does not give meta humpers and other types of trolls a new weapon.

redniwediS2 votesHow many people do you run across who troll from the very start? In my experience it's actually quite rare, with most of the trolls I find deciding to troll after something happens in game instead of in champion select.
As it is right now dodging because you do no like someone's pick is punished, and in my opinion that is how it should be. Under a vote-dodge system it would be the person with the unconventional pick who is punished. No they won't lose LP for it, but how many games will they actually get to play? I've honestly seen more people apologize for giving another player a hard time over their pick after they carried then people who pick out of order or decide to be useless while in champion select.
In my opinion the good part of a vote-dodge system simply does not outweigh this. Riot should be focusing on removing trolls from the game instead of adding unnecessary and abusable things like a vote-dodge mechanic.

Zilchocool1 votesI agree with this implementation. Maybe if you don't dodge 30 or so games in a row, you get a free dodge. I have had soooooo many games recently where someone trolls because another player picks a champ they don't like or the champ they called (mostly katarina) gets banned or they didn't get their only role. They are last pick so they immediately pick aatrox clarity CV and announce troll. This is unfair to people who don't troll and do not want to wait for this fiasco to be over. Not to mention the actual people who are going to troll regardless of what is happening...they just pick something random to rage over then announce troll. When you look them up their pages are full of yorick, poppy, bard, and mordekaiser.
