Holy fuck that Darius nerf in the patch notes

When Darius triggers Noxian Might by applying a fifth Passive - Hemorrhage stack via Q - Decimate, Decimate now properly only applies one stack of Hemorrhage to other units hit.

What this means is when he has 4 stacks on a target, uses decimate to get his 5th stack on that target while the blade hits other people as well it will no longer apply 5 stacks on them as well.

This is a way bigger nerf than it looks like as it will stop his chain ulting in teamfights as this type of scenario is way more common than it looks.

It should be fixed, but doesn't really sound "broken af". After all, Darius could just use another basic attack before decimate for the same effect. It's just confusing for enemies that don't know about that bug.

This would've been a good nerf to give him back when he was an issue, but giving it to him now and calling it a "bugfix" when it's been well known since the rework on top of the other nerfs he got not too long ago just seems dumb

Darius is in top 3 popular toplaners, and with a decent winrate. There is no reason for nerf right now, but there is most definitely no reason to further postpone a bugfix.

He was meta long enough, even if this hurts him badly - which I doubt - game as a whole won't lose much on it.

how does he automatically get 5 stacks just cuz he is at 4 stacks on one target and he hits another target via proxy basically ?

hes probably still going to need compensation buffs now.

because while it was a bug, he was balanced around working with this bug. this means its actually a pretty harsh nerf. i mean clearly bugs should be fixed, but this still needs to be taken into account for future balance.
