I'm on losing streak and got demoted, need help!

ValiantKiller··2 votes·2,230 views

I'm doing my best as top laner, i roam around and get all shutdowns i can do then i play my plays and split push if i can. I always make my lanes goes 0-3 sometimes 0-1 but able to force tower under them.

But somehow I keep losing over and over cause i keep getting the worst Adc/Sup/Mid in one pack or atleast ADC/Mid that are bad, then i lose game.

Honestly i need help, i'm sick of this unfair teammates i keep getting either Mid that doesn't help jungler or doesn't switch with me if they against top laner champion or just blindly never listen to pings then die or adc that just can't do adc stuff or lux support that can't land a damn Q.

I main Urgot Illaoi Yorick MonkeyKing top lane and if you say it cause of my champion pool, then i'm done of this shit game where i'm forced to play things that i don't like and honestly i will just uninstall and move on. I can't make a damn carry in a game if my mid and bot lane both goes 0-3 by 10mins mark and lost first tower.

Going to list everything I notice then address each one. I will also be focusing on Urgot Yorick and Illaoi as I don't play wukong

  1. Based on your match history it is clear you don't know how to deal with or even survive a Darius effectively. That is ok, not many people in low elo do and that's why he usually wins.
  2. You do have a pretty one dimensional champion pool
  3. Your CS on all 3 of these champions is relatively low for how long games go
  4. Unfortunately Illaoi is very weak in this meta due to the abundant mobility and crowd control which can completely shut down your team fights.
  5. Your rune choices for Urgot and Illaoi aren't personally what I would have taken and seem sub optimal
  6. Skill max orders.
  7. Your item choices seem questionable in certain games also.
  8. You don't place many wards at all which is very bad.
  9. Just going to describe how I prefer to build these champs

.

Ok time to kick things off.

  1. Darius is a match up where you have 2 options. Ban him or learn to deal with him. As all 3 of these champions you play EXTREMELY PASSIVELY! Start dorans shield and if you need a corrupting pot buy it second. Only hit minions to last hit so darius pushes you in. Then you try to freeze the wave just outside of tower the best you can so that you can farm safely. This is where point 3 comes in, if you can't CS effectively you won't ever keep up with darius. Eventually the darius will likely get impatient and make a mistake allowing Urgot Illaoi to devour him (especially if you're close to turret). As Yorick you blatantly out scale him as long as you have your ult. The most important skill to master is DON'T FEED THE DARIUS! Yes it is hard but if you really work at it (perhaps 1v1 a friend) you'll nail the match up.

  2. With 3 juggernauts you really only have 1 way to play and wukong is so hit or miss compared to other divers (due to his stat check play style). So it wouldn't hurt to add another diver like Kled (who is very strong atm) into the mix

  3. In most cases the early game is where low elo CS suffers, if you want to practice just start a practice tool game and farm for 10 minutes without buying any items. Try to attack as little as possible and don't use any spells. This will help greatly if you depend only on your auto attacks and base damage. Record your result and try to beat it (obviously don't cheat by teleporting to other lanes to clean up huge waves)

  4. Personally I'd ditch her and potentially replace her with one of Kled Darius Singed Camille {{champi1. on:36}}

. Sorry the list fked up

5.I suggest changing illaoi's as she simply doesn't use klepto well enough. Potentially change it to grasp, electrocute or conqueror. Potentially go mainly grasp on yorick to increase sustain and allow you to beef up more. While kill potential is good, that's not your job. By going grasp you can then take the defense runes you do now + the healing bonus for you Q and ult. You can then add sorcery for move speed or precision for DPS. I'd recommend going press the attack on urgot. It synergises perfectly with your W and you can still grab sorcery for the movement speed. Would also ditch gathering storm as most games won't last long enough.

6.Maxing W on urgot doesn't add much value as it doesn't increase your damage at all, while upgrading your Q increases it's damage drastically and it will generally be your first spell in a combo, after that max W then E (obvs ult first always). On yorick max W second as the E is there purely to mark enemies and slow them, both of which don't get better with levels. Upgrading W allows you to better trap atk speed champions and escape by sealing off choke points. The illaoi max is fine

7.You rarely seem to buy item 3123 on anyone which will help you eat champs like Darius Vladimir 1v1. item 3512 is decent on yorick but he really doesn't need it given demolish and his ultimate. Buying a item 3742 or item 3065 next will allow you to duel better. Try building more damage on urgot like item 3033 or item 3036 +item 3812 + item 3072. You're already pretty fat as urgot so damage is key to up that W damage.

8.Try getting into the habit of placing a ward every time it's off cooldown and buying 2 control wards every time you recall if possible. Warding makes all the difference in securing rift herald and surviving ganks as immobile juggernauts.

9.You've probably got the idea of how I like to play these champions. If not give my builds a try. They're nothing special/unique but it doesn't hurt to give things a go when what you're doing isn't working out. http://oce.op.gg/summoner/userName=krakenKnight My yorick is pretty standard, tri force into tank with the runes to boot. Urgot is precision with PTA and sorcery manaflow+celerity Haven't played illaoi in a while but I would take resolve with grasp+revitalise, then domination with sudden impact (for W) and ravenous hunter. This would send my heals through the roof. Or I would take electrocute with the same domination deal, then revitalize and chrysalis in resolve

Hope this helps and GLHF

Thanks for advice and i mostly go with graps on yorick against squishy targets like teemo, vlad, gp,etc

As daruis part, what you see in the match history mostly a feed Darius cause of his team mate, the game that got me demoted from gold down to silver1 was yoirck against daruis i ended up with 41k damage on yorick while that daruis win game but with 16k damage total only. I did shut him down completely that game and i know how to play safe against him to scale late, special with urgot and yorick but again after that my problem is with team who just give him kills when he roam and i ping missing.

And as for urgot runes, i do like aery with my build since it give me chance for more safe poking and it very good special on your R when you need that little tick .

But for sure i will think about kled one.

If you're playing yorick right at this elo and you did completely shut him down, then by the time he caught up you should've killed outer and inner in your lane, rotated bot and mid to kill outer. Secured rift herald and proceeded to kill the top lane inhibitor turret and the inhibitor. By this point you just repeat this step bot lane then group mid to win

If that pattern isn't happening then you're focusing too hard on top lane

I did open top lane to inb and exposed them when i tried to move to bot , here what i a found a jinx with 0-6 and lucain with 6-0 :)

Unfortunately that's just the game. No one's perfect. I've had those and it's a vayne so my split is completely shut down. I play urgot, the fed champ is a teemo or a casseopia. Shit happens and you just gotta move on Getting to gold and staying there is mostly rng.

get 2 free wins for promos, win 1 game and hopefully not drop back to gold.

However, when you lose, don't look at the scores and go "ffs jinx", think "what could I have done to fuck this lucian over?" Imagine how useless he'd be if top and mid inhibs weren't just open, but taken and you went randuins, thornmail, tabi and deadmans with a tri force (farm good enough and it happens very quick). He'd be freaking screwed and you'd have baron ez pz.

If you struggle top, try taking yorick into mid lane. He can decimate allot of mid laners, his hardest counters being Cassiopeia Ahri and Yasuo. His ghouls shred them since they're squishy and he has an even easier time 1v2 when ahead (get visage and merc treads and the enemy AP deals no dmg to u) You have faster access to inhibs (short lane) and you have control over both dragon and herald. It is indeed vital you take the sustain runes and a corrupting pot otherwise you'll be shoved out of lane

I know it just one game, but man i had that happen to me in 10 lose streak....plus i had a troll from while who nunu on smurf account and legit said in chat " I dont' care about his game, i want to full build nunu ap and i int on this smurf account to be in this elo"

How i get unlucky to get such players in 10 games like that ? is that even possible ? is me a bad luck player really?

I'm trying my best to improve but every time i take one step i get 10 back just because some of my team decide it good time to try 2v3 then die throw baron or just legit ignore baron and goes for kills then die.

haha babe, you have no idea what unlucky is.

57 That is how many promotional series it took me to get to gold. Every series my team would be silvers and the enemy would be gold, plat and sometimes even diamond. Every series someone would afk, troll, feed, tilt or I'd get hard countered and devoured.

I got to gold and said fk it, I'm done and it just had to be the season with the most useless skins ever (graves who I don't have the audacity to play).

Did play on and off, duo'd with my bud at the end of the season and we even managed to hit plat for a few games, but we instantly got demoted cos we certainly didn't belong there XD Then we went on a massive losing streak all the way back to gold IV which sucked a little.

If you just want to get better. Play norms or draft and focus there as winning and losing doesn't matter.

So yeah, if you're just looking to get better, just chillax dude. Chilling in norms with my babe Nautilus was the best decision ever. After practicing I managed to get positive win rates with him almost every season and he was an F tier jungler

Seem like it going to be bronze, 3 games i get Akali that is fed mid and she decide to split push while leaving team to die in 4v5 cause our adc was kinda meh then i got zed next game that is like 1/2 of game afk xD

It funny how i dropped from g4 44lp to s2 0lp in few days cause stupid lose streak, what made it worst for me before that dropped i was on like 6winstreak, 2 loses, 5 winstreak, etc xD

Infact here another game http://prntscr.com/k7cgeb Where i suppose to carry duo bot lane with that kda, who lost their tower and made enemy 4man handle me top side. Told you i'm doing my best top side, but nothing matter cause that shit happen.

Well I did main Jungle until it got shit on,

Urgot I always ganked this guy when he's top. No escape, predictable move set. Illaoi Same as Urgot. Easy as hell of a kill until 6, even if they have 6, I just walk out of the ult. Yorick Literally the same as illaoi and Urgot. MonkeyKing He counters all of my champs ability to root. Don't play bruisers, or somebody that locks him down through his clone.

Now I'm not saying it's your champion pool, I think that because you have such a champion pool as that: you desperately need to learn how to control your waves and minions.

I used to main jungle too but quit it once they made that stupid changes, i don't like to play wukong against the broken udyr or WW even. Anyway moving to my point, what would wave control would make difference ? I saw a Darius with 16k damage after 40min game and i was Yorick with 41k damage against him, he win game cause i had adc of 16k damage Jinx with score of 2-12 while my jungle was Nunu went full ap against MasterYi where would wave control would make difference. I did kill Darius over and over, pushed till their top inb and opened yet lost cause my bot lane was complete shutdown and nunu was ap exposed to yi kills. Second game i went with Urgot and i killed their Garen like 0-5 , i shutdown mid once and shutdown bot twice yet i lost game cause my mid and adc wasn't; even able to do anything.

Edited : infact i don't understand your logic here , i never said i lose cause i get ganked...i said lost cause adc/mid always i get the worst players. And for ganks, i mostly don't die to ganks cause i either see them or able to fight back then turn table around over their head special with urgot and illaoi. It rarely i die to ganks and mostly i die to ganks that doesn't get in my vision area like kayn or lee or zac, but that rarely happen cause they not around that much into my games except once here and there.

Tbh yorick, illaoi and urgot, if played safely can easily 1v2 post 6. It's simply a matter of getting there

Definitely disagree.

Though if the OP thinks they have nothing to improve on other than getting better teammates then the thread is hereby declared a sob thread without intention to improve individually. You can have a million kills but still lose the game.

TheSingularity1 votes

Edit: Will agree to disagree and agree with the 2nd bit and we will see based on how he responds to me.

However I've found that many players get impatient vs yorick and urgot and feed me kills (unless they're a counter like irelia or singed). I don't struggle at all to 1v2 when slightly ahead on yorick but I need a bigger lead on urgot since I have to sit still for a few seconds of the fight.

I generally freeze just outside of my tower and farm away. They try to shove and I face tank the wave till my wave arrives. And I just out farm and tilt the enemy into getting impatient and making a mistake. Wouldn't work in higher elo like plat, but for low elo it works just fine for me.
