Your Vayne Balance Problem

I think Vayne W could be healthier as an execute. I might be a little reactive, but Ive seen her played mid and top on qtpies stream and she carried. Twice in the same stream. I know riot doesnt want her showing up in other lanes and thats part of the reason she is kept in such a weird state. Cause if you watch her, she is a broken champion right now. Shes utterly useless until she starts popping off triple kills 3v4. Which is sort of cool I guess. Its a throwback to older league balance, but its more unpleasant than say jhins powercurve and the way he transitions through the game.

I know she is wanted as late game carry and her % hp true dmg is part of that. But right now, I see that her main issue is the fact that she can very nearly be played as a top laner and thats to be avoided at all costs...as long as vayne is paying the costs haha.

Anyway, I think playing vayne in bot lane can be made more sufferable and playing her in top lane can be made less possible by switching her w to %missing hp true dmg execute. If you do that, I think even garen could lane against her in top cause sustain would counter her w really well.

In bot lane, she would start to synergize really well with dmg dealing supports cause shes got an escape and needs less peel, but has increased potential to ks a low hp target very quickly. So brand zyra annie all would work well with her. I like this because it gives a vayne player something to hope for and play around besides 20 minutes or more of farm. Cause if one of her enemy laners gets low, not even exhaust would stop the execute now that the attack speed slow has been removed. Thats good for the champion, imo. And if it makes her a tiny bit stronger in bot lane without making her work in top then everyone knows thats a boon to the game.

I also like the idea that youve got an early ad with execute who makes big teamfight impact, but falls off somewhat toward the end of the game and has no escape. And that could stand besides vayne who would now be a late game ad with an execute + mobility, but no way to set up teamfights with cc ( lets be honest, condemn is a really shitty way to start a teamfight. Its self peel and dueling, but no more). So with this change, there would be a vayne jhin choice that you can think about having.

TL;DR: Vayne becomes weaker to sustain in top lane, synergizes better with dmg supports making her more fun to play, introduces a similarity and meaningful choice between jhin and vayne. This makes vayne healthier.
