Ever since the Juggernaut Patch, so many champions just seem broken....

Does anyone else get that feeling? Thats there so many champions you have to worry about being picked every game, theres so many champions that are insanely difficult to deal with, just to me it feels ever since that patch and onward everything feels just terrible.

So many champions , I mean its sort of a good thing its nice to have a variety of champions that are "strong", but it seems more of just "Broken" then strong. Not talking specifically about the Juggernauts, but to me just ever since that patch, everything started to feel unfair and unfun to play against.

Blame the musician not the instrument. Some were born under the unlucky star of cannon fodder.

I can see how they seem broken, but it doesn't really feel that way to me. Then again I never get to see most champions that are complained about because I hate blind pick and people would rather ban them all instead of learn to fight them.

My only issue is how %hp true damage is coming out a lot. People hated Vanye for it but at least she was the only case. They added Garen which at least while being dumb, was on select targets, then on Fiora which is downright dumb.

There is no reason % hp true damage should be a thing since there is no counter to it which seeing as this is a game of counters and counterplay, has no place here, so it shouldn't become a thing that it slowly is. Riot wants all champs to be viable but if they learned anything, the viable pool becomes smaller and smaller as they do this crap.

to be fair, in most cases the villain is gonna be a squishy adc or assassin or maybe a mage. meaning if he does, garen only deals true damage against champions that build little resistances in the first place, so it barely makes a difference to the magic damage default.

it only really becomes noticable against a snowballing fighter who stacks a lot of mr.

a lot of people are pissed, because they think it devalues tanks. but in how many cases does a tank realistically get a killstreak to become the villain? its almost never going to happen.

Still, base magic resistance and from runes will deflect ~35% of the damage from garens ultimate normally, If a squishy target is the villain and is missing over half their HP garen can instantly kill them with ult where otherwise it'd do about 65% of that damage.

Fiora's %HP true damage probably has the greatest counter you so far have listed. (The very fact that she is limited to targeting enemy vitals.) It's all a skills matchup.

Technically, you could say that Vayne is hampered my AS slow. (an poor counter at best) And Garen's is prone to being kited. (making the True damage on his E, hit or miss.)

Just remember that Riot pushed this damage type to create transparency between high and low health targets. Otherwise their would be no room for a duelist to exist. (because the difference between tank and glass cannon is too great.)

To be fair, there were some OP champions before 5.16 like Elise, and some unknowns like Tahm Kench.

well, thank god we have bans. Every single game Fiora Garen Darius and Mordekaiser are banned along with veigar and occasionally gangplank or skarner. Garen for sure is the most unfair to play against. With DMP and his boots hes faster than anybody, 4k hp and impossible to lock down without using ALL of your cc and itll still be very close. Gangplank presses E and Q and your entire team is 1-shot unless someone got the barrel during a teamfight. Darius is pretty eh, He;s easy to kite and a lot easier to deal with than the other jugger nauts, same with skarner. Fiora is wayyyy too sticky and her ultimate is completely retarded.

it heavily depends on the champions you pick. anivia alone could throw down either her wall or ult and block off any path for garen. dead mans plate has the same weakness as him. th movement stacks fall off when hes cced in any form.

of course ive fought against teams with little or without any cc at all and stomped them. but there are certain picks that can shut him down, even if you dont counterpick him in lane.

a support janna/tahm, an anivia mid, an ekko. etc. just look what goes well against your lane opponent and has enough cc to deal with garen later on. the amount of choices you have isnt even small.

and even if garen can run fast, most of the targets he wants to kill are able to jum walls. movement speed means nothing, if you can just hop over a wall and either force him to flash or run the long way around. until he reached you, you can just hop over the next wall.

even if you dont have cc, you can build into it. there is a large amount of items available that have slow actives or passives attached in some form. every champion has at least one of them that he can build.

item 3022 item 3143 item 3116 item 3092 item 3153 just to list the big ones. there are a bunch more.

Like playing against darius, xin,fiora,tahm,garen,skarner, lee and j4 every game?

then normal 3s is the playlist for you! NO bans, NO way to tell who your playing against!

its so bad that you HAVE to play the god tier perma banned champs in blind just to compete, because contrary to popular belief, this game IS won by champ select ALOT (in yolo blind pick 3s, since we have no draft other then team 3s)
