Why don't you just rework Soraka again ?

Exactly what I thought is happening, she's getting nerfed again in the new patch and I understand why, but.. I think after that nerf, she's gonna be played again and gonna get banned again and still will be considered as a toxic champ. Like I said before, I think she just needs another rework with more of an interactive gameplay. I'm a Soraka player, but I'm just tired of hearing people talking shit about the champion and me because I play Soraka...

Soraka is a great champion idea, but creates little room for champions who require to poke down their enemies before an engage (think Ziggs, Xerath, Ezreal). They need just a little more sticking power so that she's less of an ICU and more of a doctor who can give you a bandaid and maybe a lollipop if you made a mistake.

Sounds like a walking waste of a pick, what does a band-aid and sugar on a stick do for severe burns or gunshot wounds?

"just do another rework" That shit takes like 6 months to a year for the scope of rework that Soraka got.

Anyways, this adjustment is just to make up for the change to grievious wounds. Ally healing was basically balanced under the assumption that the enemy would have some form of grievous wounds. Now that grievous wounds only affects self-healing, significant sources of ally healing need to be pulled back to reasonable levels.

They are doing a rework with her right now. The changes they had on the PBE and will be putting on next patch amount to a significant change in her play pattern in which she'll be more interactive thanks to a more aggressive Q.

It took them this long to realize that she needed incentive to go into combat rather than just make her easy to kill, go figure. People will play as far back as possible if there is no reward for moving forward, it's insane to think otherwise. Riot did a similar thing with Sona when they nerfed her damage while she was also squishy enough to die in a single trade.

Well they are trying to give her incentive for moving forward more. Starcall's getting a (moderate) slow on the entire AOE, as well as having the self-heal tied to it, so you can poke easier, actually do something vaguely engage-y and heal yourself all at the same time now.

I'd be fine with Soraka's heal if it were a little less braindead. Leave her ult as is - it's an ult. But her regular heal should be a HoT to give it some level of forethought, and remove its get-out-of-jail aspect.
