As the questions asks, will we ever have a meta where both the carry top style and the tank top style can co exist?
Frankly I find it saddening that riot has yet to figure out a way where people like fiora and Jax cant co exist in the same meta with maoki or nautlist.
That one side always has to get overly nerfed for the other to prosper.
LynXerf3 votesNot really, I see tanks vs carries all the time in top lane. Maybe it's an Elo thing. I actually think the top lane diversity right now is very good.
All of these are common - and there's a mix between fighters, assassins, bruisers, tanks, mages and ADC's.
FACE THE WlND2 votesI agree with this, maybe in LCS toplane lacks diversity, but in my elo toplane has a lot of diversity right now. Since I began playing in early season 3, this is the most diverse season I have experienced, but that being said, it doesn't mean it's the most balanced, although I do like this meta.

xBushx1 votesI see if this "One Time Buff Rift Herald" thing goes through you will see Top with an ADC and support. At least for the first ten minutes until someone gets the rift herald.
Then get tower and let your ADC with herald buff split all the lanes while your support roams with the "Top" (now bot) Still A Tank or Carry though lmao.
Seriously this mechanic will forever change the term "Snowball" and i really hope they don't go through with it.
Icestar11861 votesMaybe, but a lot of people expected ADCs to move mid during preseason when Herald was first introduced, and that didn't really happen. Might happen now; they won't be moving top though. Too far from Dragon.
