Do people play sivir?

She's trash right now. Bad mana, little damage or kill potential and doesn't have the scaling of other adc's.

Personally it's not that she's bad, it's that she's boring. You can't harass unless you know you can regain your mana cause your quick on the E and you can easily be outpushed to farm beneath the tower which makes your life a living hell.

She's still fairly decent just not very popular.

I only play her because I have pax sivir

Along with just being weak, Sivir just doesn't have a place in any team comp. With her lackluster damage, you'd expect she would at least have some kind of CC or peel, but she doesn't. Her only real gimmick is her spellshield and even that's just really clunky in her kit. Her Q has a pretty decent AD, ratio, like 100% at rank 5, so her poke damage is pretty good... or it would be if I weren't such an abysmally slow skillshot. The only think that saves it is the fact that its hitbox is like a third of the entire lane. Lol.

I love Sivir as a concept, but the execution just really doesn't pan out, at least not right now. She's just not fun to play. She can't really poke reliably with her massive mana costs. She can't duel other AD's or any auto attack reliant champion. Her wave clear is pretty good, but again, mana problems and every ADC pushes well after they grab Shiv or Runnan's. She has literally the least impactful ultimate of any champion in the game.

Overall, the fact that she can neither burst squishies nor shred tanks makes her an ill-suited carry.
