Every Preseason....
...everyone is claiming how broken the game is: "Omg as a tank im dying in half a second", "omg as an ADC Tanks are unkillable and still 1 shot me" , "Mages burst too quick" , "Mages don't burst as much as assassins wtf rito" , "The game has become so snowbally" , " I am not having fun anymore" , "GG Riot Balance your game is broken and i quit", etc. The list goes on. I started playing in the Preseason right before season 3 started, and every big change in the game comes with the same exact complaints. Guess what? That is what preseason is for, big changes that alter the way the game is played. Not going to lie, I was hesitant to accept the new runes, but I have found them to be extremely entertaining. Yes there are balance problems, hell I am abusing some of them that I found (Phase Garen with Transcendence + 4 Black Cleavers + Iceborn + Lucidity boots lmfao! this is the most fun ive ever had on garen) but its not like they will stay that way forever.
These things are always addressed and people move onto the next thing to complain about. So to everyone throwing fits, its not the end of League, they are going to be fixed and looked at. I mean I am having major issue with the BE system in that I have to level up before getting my reward which means I need to play extra games in order to afford what I want to buy. No longer can I play 2 more games for that IP, now i need to play 5+ games to level up again if I am short on BE from my last level up. This to me, is a problem since 5+ games to me can sometimes be several days before I can afford a new champion that I want. I know from their comments they are keeping an eye on it and watch at how the new system is perceived, hopefully they will make some changes to alleviate my concerns. Either way I will keep playing regardless and ultimately its not big deal, just an annoyance (I really hate grinding in video games and this definitely feels like a grind to me).
Now if you want to let Riot know about some of these issues, its fine to do so in a constructive way so they can see things from a different perspective. But no one tell them about my Garen build... thats too much fun.
