Please fix support/fill secondary so we actually feel safe picking it.

I love support. It's tied as my favorite role with jungle. That being said, I don't want to support 100% of games. If I queue jungle primary, support secondary, I will never get jungle. To avoid this I queue as Jungle/Mid. I'm an awful mid laner and I hate it, but I simply prefer getting jungle 70% of the time and mid 30% of the time over getting jungle 0% of the time and support 100% of the time.

Right now queueing as fill or support gives you immunity to autofill for a game. Quite frankly this kind of sucks, as you're most likely going to get support from autofill and you just support/filled so you're probably at least somewhat okay with supporting. Can we either change it so that fill/supporting guarantees your primary for one game instead of immunity to autofill, or just keep the autofill immunity and add this?

I'd be very content getting my primary half the time and supporting/filling the other half. If you have any suggestions feel free to add them. This would make queueing way more fair while also decreasing queue times because more people would queue as fill/support.

I don't even know if this CAN be fixed per-se, because fill gives you whatever teams require most, which is usually a support; because people rarely queue for it.

To fix the issue, people would have to queue as support more often, intentionally; which is a huge issue in and of itself.

My post would help fix that issue though. If they made support/fill as a secondary less overbearing on your primary, more people would pick it.

I am a top lane main but a support secondary. In order to get top, I have to put mid as my secondary. It is pretty frustrating because I don't mind playing support, if it is a 50/50 split. I just know that if I put support secondary, I will usually get top 2 or 3 out of every 10 games.

You still get your primary role some of the time if you pick x/Support. You just don't get your secondary if you pick Support first. Statistics for Jungle/Support are probably 25/75 while Mid/Support is like 10/90. I do like the idea of guaranteeing your primary role if you support one game but queue times will most certainly increase and autofill will be enabled even more than it currently is.
