Come On Riot. Blitzcrank is way too OP.

You know it, and I know it. He isn't the strongest support but he can deal a lot of unwanted damage. And makes the bot lane not fun to play. He is that one champ that you don't want bot. Why? Because he hides in the bush and when it isn't warded he'll grab you (also deals tremendous damage for just a pull) and then stuns you with that sucker punch. That is the typical combo that I see.

Lucky enough to get away from Blitz and the ADC? He still has that crazy ultimate of his that deals also the same amount of damage as his Q but with no time to know if it will happen.

Almost about to kill Blitz? His passive comes into effect and gives the mother of all shields and allows for him to run away with his speed boost.

I tried out Blitzcrank in middle lane because he has that insane AP ratio for his abilities. Turns out, I was right. The enemy Zed couldn't do anything to me. My speed boost was great for taking down the turret. And my grab+stun was great if he got too close to my turret. Insta-kill.

I hate Blitz, but I wouldn't say he's overpowered. Annoying to play against does not necessarily equate to overpowered.

Just look at his kit. Just his R passive deals more damage for free than most other ultimates.

His kit is pretty much entirely dependent on him hitting his skill shot. He appears overpowered when he lands it regularly, but it can be avoided and when it is Blitz is pretty weak.

Because staying behide minions is soooooooo hard. Also, warding with your free trinket is just too difficult O and if your free trinket is on cooldown and your minions are gone it's just so difficult to retreat and let their minions extend further while you get minions to position correctly and if by some miracle your stupid enough to not put minions in front of you against a blitz it's soooo hard to easly dodge his pulls by moving randomly in different directions. Golly blitz is just too broken, I acctually have to do something to counter him! He counters adcs with no excapes and who are stupid enough to not stand behide minions? If someone counters my champion their automatically broken and need to be deleted from the game!

Yeah, its so hard to position Blitz in a place, wait for that one time the ADC is not with the minions, and grab him. Just that one instance. No, its so easy to place one ward after another in every bush to make sure he isn't there to grab you. Yeah, I'm able to get away from Blitz after the grab unless he uses his W, then I'm just a sitting duck for the ADC. Nothing is particularly wrong with not even being safe near your turret out of fear that the movable minions will not be there. Yep. I'll just have to stand by the minions both Blitz and the ADC are farming. That will soon go away. So either I run before they target me, or I stay and try and dodge his stuns but I am not safe from the enemy ADC.

Dude. I don't care what kind of pro you think you are but these are the strategies that will go through a Blitzcrank mains mind.

Yeah, it kind of is hard to dodge something you have a 1 in 3 chances to miss. You either 1) go to the left, 2) go forward, or 3) go to the right. Chose the wrong way and you are most likely a goner. But lets not forget that it is a skill shot you can time and aim. So if you get in the right place and are quick enough, you've got your enemy with little effort.

honestly, Blitz is fine, he is a 1 shot pony and there are DEFINITELY significant degrees of skill with him. Simple and effective. As for me, honestly i would just allow his passive on his ult to scale with something for its frequency (CDR or AS or something, you can nerf the base dmg on the passive part but id like to see something scale into it to encourage non support blitz)
