Ranked Placements are designed so Poorly!
So I made a smurf and I'm wondering how many placement game wins it would take to start off gold, preferably high gold once I hit the ranked scene if I had a good win rate in normals before hand, so I made this post. Then I thought for a second about how fucking stupid this system really is. Most people play 500+ games a season, so somehow Riot decides to make your first "10" games, not 50, not 20, but 10 fucking games determine your placement? When one bad 10 game stretch can put you hundreds of games behind where you should be? Who in their right mind decided that this was a good idea? Yeah, it's true that the really good players won't struggle to climb to where they belong rather quickly, but what about the Plat level player in silver, or the gold one in bronze? I know people love to do this in these boards so please someone do it, persuade me into believing 10 games is more fair and healthy then a 25, hell even 50 game placement series.
