Best anti-tank champs?

So, I'm just being overrun by tanks lately, and want a champion that can either duel them and win, or just melt them. What champs are good against tanks?

basically anyone with good armor pen, and good cc

but for like varus its his stacks that u can pop

for ezreal it is the super kiting u can do

Champions that use item 3085 well. It is the closest thing to decent anti-tank itemization in the game. Everything else that should be good against tanks is very meh against them.

true damage: chogath irelia , also of champs that reduce resistance. nasus e, kayle, xinzhao passive. % max health damage champions Shyvana 's e. Maokai 's w, Shen 's q ... wait those champions are tanks. JarvanIV passive first hit isn't bad

lol why? she has insane amount of dps and she can get item 3153 item 3031 item 3036 item 3085 and shred through entire teams. she is can become a hyper carry that can ace teams late game

strong DPS is strong against tanks, so avoid playing champions that are more focused around their burst if you're looking to kill tanks

Plenty of champions can duel tanks and win. But some good options:

Top: Darius DrMundo Fiora Jax Kayle Trundle Tryndamere Yasuo Jungle: Warwick MasterYi Mid: Azir Cassiopeia Malzahar Support: Zyra ADC: Vayne Twitch KogMaw in particular can shred tanks, but all ADCs are at least decent at it.

Maybe Ryze , but I'm not 100%.

My opinion but I like: Shen for his %HP Q's and awesome CC. Yasuo for moblity and temporary armor penetration. Shyvana for %HP E and cute dance. Vayne you can't talk about tank shredders without talking about Baeyne.

ALSO MasterYi like seriously, Cowsep melts tanks left and right.

yi melts tanks late game who arent able to cc yi. he benenfits from items that proc on hit effects due to his alpha strike and true damage wu ju style

its common place for a yi to have item 3153 item 1419 and could easily get item 3033 then you amplify it with crit item 3031 it has so many different types of damage its hard for a tank to have enough hp, mr, armor to able to with stand the damage. similar to kog with a item 3124 item 3091 item 3036

why are people forgetting elise when it comes to damage her Q with item 3151 item 1414 item 3001 item 3135 can do some high damage

i haven't seen anybody talking about Jhin he's really good against tanks when he has some items like item 3036 item 3094 item 3046 and etc... he just needs some crit chance and attack speed to get away he deals alot of damage

Illaoi Is arguably the biggest tank destroyer, if you follow the right build paths.

For example, If the tanks' teams allow it, you should rush item 3071 and maybe a item 3035 . If you have these two items in your build, Illaoi can almost 1 shot tanks, because she does % based damage, and because she can have up to 6-7 tentacles slam. If it all penetrates, she's absolutely monstrous, and a tank generally can't deal enough damage/CC back to stop her.

But.... ofc..... if you build in reverse and start items like item 3065 or item 3813 , Illaoi can often get outtraded by tanks, so you really have to adhere to a build path.

Really just look at the type of tank and build to counter them.

If you're an adc player, tank killing is easy: any champ with high attack speed that can build BotRK and other on hit items: Vayne, Kog'Maw, Varus even Ashe is pretty good once you get IE and BotRK plus some crit.

If you're looking for mid laners: Cassiopeia is very good, Vel'koz one you get the True Damage on ult, not really many others I can think of.

Junglers: People with true damage are good (Camille, Master Yi etc), Trundle, not really very many others

Top Lane: Again, anyone with true damage or Conqueror cause it's busted (Camille, Fiora + Conqueror builders), Gangplank is ok once you get LW and like Youmuus, Urgot is good for executing and his legs are %max hp phys dmg so he's alright once you get cleaver.

I'm sure there are others but those are the front of mind ones

no draven and vayne by far are the best tank melters once they have some crit the tank will run at u and halfway through they will not be able to commit anymore and they will turn and u get a free kill
