infact he was closely supervised during it

where did you find this information?

CT said he was instructed to modernize his kit without radical changes. People then exaggerated it into him being locked in a prison cell.

A kit without radical changes(new mechanics) IS him being locked in a prison cell. That's all people are asking for.

Ahristocats9 votes

no

it is him doing his job, which is totally different. He did what he had to do, just like during the mordekaiser rework he had to find a way to make him healthier than before that solution was to put him bot lane because he already explained why mordekaiser's kit cannot work in solo lane and needed more than a simple rework to make him healthy

if people want him in a prison cell, then they 're wrong

Honestly trying to dig up the supposed quote where he said he disliked his work being restricted in any way is extremely hard when googling it just shows me a ton of CT hate threads.

RIP.

I don't know man, I saw a pic of him on Twitter and I was sure I saw chains around his ankles.

Considering that's basically saying

"Don't CT this shit"

It might as well be. There's virtually no detection of CT on this champion apart from a strong base kit. No overloading, no bullshit tiny mechanics, no excess numbers tacked on.

Penns5 votes

He shud also rework Fizz :[

Or revert him :]

Ahristocats3 votes

why?

Penns4 votes

To make him fun again :]

Divewing14 votes

Fun for who?

I'll tell you one thing, sir, I have never found any iteration of Fizz "fun". Shark has wayyyyy too many forms of CC, and trollpole is a disgusting basic ability that should never have been introduced.

So who is Fizz being made fun for?

Penns3 votes

He shouldnt be made fun for people that will complain about him regardless because they dont like his E, so just make him fun for us and revert him :]

General Esdeath 8 votes

Nah I prefer new Fizz. CSing on him feels good now with W.

Newbie1287492 votes

i'd personally just prefer a revert of his r it just feels shit to use now that you have to be far away to do anything with it while also being easy to dodge

Daunt7 votes

So lets make the only thing he actually needs to land easier for him.

Newbie1287491 votes

it was reworked to add counterplay, but it just feels shit to use and it makes him pretty binary with his rewq being his only combo

Daunt3 votes

But wasn't he always like that? He needed to land the fish in order to do his combo since before the rework they added the amp damage to it.

Newbie1287492 votes

he could ult during his combo so you're almost guaranteed to land fish if you're close to them

right now if you fish right next to the enemy you get a really small fish that does a really small amount of damage with a very short knockup

Daunt2 votes

But it kinda is justified with how annoying Fizz can get. Especially since he'd be too oppressive if he didn't get touched at all during the assassin update while other assassins got their burst windows widened.

General Esdeath 2 votes

He's melee, he already gets poked out of lane by most assassins/mages.

Daunt2 votes

That's what happens only on the 1st 3 levels of the game.

General Esdeath 1 votes

Depends on the champ, some can abuse him if he uses his E. Some matchups he has to wait for level 6. I think there were 5 champs who he could only beat at level 4 because he needed 2 points in his W.

Newbie1287492 votes

well, yeah. it was reworked to add counterplay. but the guppy is so weak you can't ult mid combo or else you do less damage than other midlaners and long fish is easy to dodge. i understand it being annoying to play against. it just doesn't feel right to play as

OP champs with a million failsafes are good beginner champs, yes. They're good champs in general too. I don't know how anyone thinks this Puppy is balanced because there's no evidence to support that theory while there's plenty to suggest that he's overtuned by a significant margin.

Ahristocats8 votes

yea XD that's why azir had 42% win rate while being broken for a while

that's a very good meme

DunkinNoobs2 votes

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Ahristocats6 votes

but i have an idea of what i'm talking about.

DunkinNoobs2 votes

If you want to defend the idea that WW is balanced despite ample evidence to the contrary, you're welcome to do so. You'll definitely find a lot of people here who agree with you for reasons I can't fathom. It's like these people never actually play against WW.

Ahristocats7 votes

how does it matter if warwick is balanced or not, where does this discussion comes from?

op or not he remains a jungler for new players, even if underpowered they can understand his kit easily

And Azir was broken as hell back then, but if you suggested him to new players they would int like no tomorow and get destroyed which is why he had a low win rate

Ohh I remember that. I'm an awful Azir (Good sticker choice btw). I have a pretty decent understanding of his kit, and I know what he can and can't do, and should and shouldn't build, and I still get destroyed :I. I don't get it.

Warwick is far from pleasant to play against but he has never been a balance problem. He's always been a failsafe pick for those with the mechanical capacity of a goldfish, that's why he's my go to Jungle anyways.

From your tone it's easy to see that you're just really biased and probably have some subjective dislike of WW as a champion.

DunkinNoobs2 votes

I do dislike him as a champion. Heavily. I hate champions that reward bad play, and WW most certainly does that. But I would dislike him a lot less if he wasn't overtuned as fuck. He's been sitting at around a 54% or higher winrate with a respectable pickrate since his rework was released and Riot seemingly doesn't care. Many junglers have been nerfed hard for less. Why the fuck is WW exempt? Because people don't complain about him enough? I don't see how. Between his hyperspeed, Q that follows dashes, on demand damage reduction, AOE fear, and retarded low health dueling, I don't see how people aren't bitching about this champion constantly. Hell, I didn't even mention his ultimate, as if dueling him wasn't stupid enough already. It is unreal how hard I need to outplay a WW to have any chance of besting him 1v1, even on early game junglers. He doesn't fall off as hard as most early game junglers either for some bizarre reason. But not only is WW stronger than other early game junglers while also scaling better, he's also far, far easier than most of them. Easy champs aren't supposed to be this good, but here we are.

Newbie1287493 votes

"I hate champions that reward bad play" "Easy champs aren't supposed to be this good, but here we are." every champ needs to be a high skill cap assassin or they need to be sent to the gutter

DunkinNoobs5 votes

There is room to be found between Garen and Zed.

Daunt2 votes

I've been saying this forever but boards like to defend him for some reason. He's overloaded like every other abomination CT created. For some reason the best early game duelist in the game with huge map pressure also scales into late as a tank with damage reduction attached to hard cc with S+ engage. He might not be OP but he definitely is overloaded and toxic.

I hate champions that reward bad play, and WW most certainly does that

Literally. Unless someone was legit inting, i've never seen a WW perform badly in a game.

Ahristocats4 votes

{quoted}

but he definitely is overloaded

Sure his spells do 2 things each one but it's fine, everything is overloaded compared to nunu :^)

Daunt1 votes

While his spells do 2 things each they also do a better job than most if not all junglers. He has too many tools for each situation in the game. Which other jungler has so much sustain, steroids, damage reduction and CC in their kits?

LordForrest4 votes

item 3123 item 3076 These items exist for a reason.

Also item 3165 is effective against him too because his amped passive sustain kicks in around the proc so its possible to get him with it before its a threat.

ampheon3 votes

No one ever remembers these items unless there are 3 healing champs on the enemy team

LordForrest3 votes

And that is sad and honestly tilting for me. Nothing irritates me more then when there is a sustain champ and the marksmen on our team is refusing to build item 3123. Instead they get item 3036.

I will never understand why people always buy that item. The damage amp is only effective against health stackers even more so with the recent change increasing the needed health gap.

Meanwhile item 3033 cripples healers and sustain champs which there is always at least one, if not two in a game. Before you say that there is always at least one health stacker in a game, that's not always true. Even then most of the time heavy health stackers aren't a huge threat damage-wise and the ones that are, are typically hurt more by item 3033.

Basically in my mind item 3036 is a niche item for when the enemy has 2 or more super tanks and/or fatties.

The steam life1 votes

It’s a fifty two percent winrate which is within reasonable range for a simple champ.
