Riot Roundtable has SO much wasted potential.

I would really like a Reds feedback on this so if anyone knows of a way to get this post to them that would be fantastic.

A while back there was a DQ roundtable Riot did and i tried to see if they were doing more but i couldnt find any. Which is a shame because it is a GOOD idea.

So "Gameplay" right now has a lot of problems. By that i mean the communities faith in the devs, and riot communication on controversial topics. And the roundtable COULD fix these.

There is no doubt that high ELO players have a lot of influence on the balance. Hell i bet some of them taught rioters a thing or two. They are also well known players for the most part.

So my idea is once per patch, invite (or call or whatever so people dont have to travel) some known face or 2 in the community on. And directly ask THEM what they think issues with league is right then, and what they think they should change. And also have Riot counterpointing and explaining their reasoning on changes. It should probably be a different face every session to avoid "CONSPIRACY" people saying corruption yadda yadda.

This might help refresh communication and faith without directly involving with the boards extremists (And there is definitely some extremists out there.) As well as continuing a good idea that kinda died.

they should ask me what to do so i can tell them to make juggernauts the mandatory class instead of marksmen

Thats why i said BIG names. A lot of high class people wont say one class is mandatory over another >.>

And juggernauts would be WAY more annoying if they were mandatory. At least ADCs are meant to be squishy but deal damage.

i'm a big name, big is already in my name

and i'm going to spread juggernaut propaganda across the lands

The issue with that is that 0.001% of the community designing the game isn't a good idea. Riot needs to cater to their 99% more often to be honest.

Your right the highest degree of players SHOULDNT be designing the game. Thats why Riot is. People criticize a Bronze Rioter but then rage when its balanced at the diamond level.

And more than just being more balanced its also about communication more than that. Riot would still do what they do, but at least we would hear SOMETHING. And people look up to the Dyrus', the Fakers' etc.

And if there are glaring things that sometimes Riot doesnt see to well, that gets buried in statistics. The 0.001% STILL PLAY. They arent gonna be like "Well i know the game so it looks k" It will be "No 'x' was a mistake Riot" and they will try to defend it. But its not like LCS and bronze are ENTIRELY different games like people treat it as. Skill levels and team based things? yes. But glaring balance issues are apparent at ALL levels of play. If a champ is strong its strong in ALL levels.

You are correct in that, however, they should limit the amount of power high elo players have because if they chose every nerf and buff then things like Ryze would get gutted when they don't even see the light of day in lower elos.

I think there are situations like that already. Not all champs are balanced for high elos, because they would so SO strong in low elos, Garen is balanced for like bronze level.

He wasn't just balanced around bronze level, he was made for bronze level. He is inherently a noob champion by design.

Thats kinda what all the 450s are supposed to be, but then half of them got reworked, so they should probably increase their price and make some more 450

To be honest I don't think many new players flock to the 450 price champions to learn league of legends. Most of them, including myself when I first started, played the champions I thought looked cool on the free champ rotation and played those and just saved up and didn't even touch the 450s.
