to use pings correctly. On the way ping for a gank, target ping for who you're gonna focus, assistance ping when you aer getting chased/dove, assistance ping for objectives, v-pings for when a gank is imminent and you're not gonna be there, danger ping if you decide you're not gonna gank or do an objective after pinging it earlier.

Using your pings correctly can win you games.

its not only the junglers job to ping, I myself have used pings to alert my teammates only for them to completely ignore them regardless of their current health position, however a simple MIA ping from a laner also means the difference between a failed gank and a successful gank

As a jungler, one of the jungler's jobs (that people don't really talk about) is pinging for your teammates early game.

You don't have to focus very hard on clearing the camps, so while you do that, ping MIAs, danger pings, and so on for your lanes, because they are often too busy tunneling on the CS.

As for pinging for yourself, I agree that other junglers don't usually do it enough. Too many people start bitching at teammates for not coming to help in an invade when they never pinged. Same with ganks. Ping early and ping twice more as you come in.

You can ping 6 times in a row, dude. Use at least a few of them. Spamming 3 pings can be surprisingly necessary.
