Picking certain champions is like taking the stairs over the escalator next to it.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who thinks this, but:

What goes through my mind whenever I take the stairs over the escalator:

" You see, taking the stairs isn't such a ba- oh my god, what have you done. Now everyone is going to think you're one of those silly sporty people that always take the stairs. Look at that person on the escalator, he's beating you. He's laughing at you. He knew taking the escalator was a better choice. ughhhhhhhh1h1h1h1h1h

What goes through my mind whenever I pick something that isn't God tier:

"You see, playing an underplayed champion, isn't so bad- oh my god, what have you done. You just gave up first blood. Now everyone is going to think you're a failing idiotic feeder. Look at that Zed Player, he's deleting you in 1 second flat. He's flashing mastery and spamming /l at you. He knew taking Zed was a better choice. !O! !PO UP! #UIU @OHNL@!J$OI@I@$JR

Some champions are so overpowered that you're basically handicapping yourself when not picking them.

I try to play as many champions as possible, as often as possible. I have friends who play only a handful and they are good with them, but if they ever pick up a different champion they are absolute garbage. Playing different champions gives you a broader skill set and teaches you how to counter play and itemize better. I can pick just about any champion in my champion pool (which is all but about 20 of them) and while I may not be able to win with all of them, I don't believe I would get stomped with any of them. Also having a knowledge of most champion's strengths and weaknesses means I have a good idea what works and doesn't work against my opponent.

Then I don't understand what you expect anyone to say, other than to agree with you.
