This champ is so fun to play as support, in lane you just throw Q's at the enemy ADC (Or supp, up to you), level ups and frostfang give you enough mana and no one really attack moves in low elo, especially ADC's, so the Q's are free because you can get in range to Q. Your ult gets flash for free, if they don't react then they often die before they hit the ground if you've done well. ROA is in a support's price range, and I just got so fed that I could afford the other items

I'd say getting items this order is better for getting through lane and into mid-late game though

RoA isn't really in a support's price range, since you also need the 10 minutes to stack it up.

It's 2700 gold, like it's pretty high but it's only 300 gold more than item 3905 and 400 gold more than item 3504 , (also 50 gold more than item 3800 and 500 gold less than item 3285 , which are often seen on supports too)

It's also 93% gold efficient when you buy it and is gold efficient after 2 minutes, rising to 150% gold efficient at max stacks. If you buy it as your first core item I think it's the best option for AP Malphite because you'll almost always get full stacks and your damage isn't bad at all when it's bought either.

The problem is you need a mana item or you'll go oom, mana regen won't really cut it so you have the options of: item 3027 item 3285 item 3030 item 3003 , and which is it going to be?

Played it once myself. My item build was item 3098 -> item 3285 -> item 3089 -> item 3165

I just think item 3285 costs too much, and you have no ehp for far too long in the game if you go deathcap after as well. Also you'll back with no items you can buy after you get to item 3098 item 3802 item 1026 because everything costs 1050 gold+ at that point
