how do you beat trynd as fiora

like wtf, he did half my health at level one . like how, HOW? i feel like trynd is just too strong in general though. Literally i can never lane against him, mainly because i dont know how. His ult is just flat out stupid and he sustains so much

You don't fight trynd level one. He will crit your health away. His crits will reduce spinning slash's CD and he'll slash over and over.

You may be the cheese that is Fiora, but you're not the level 1 cheese. He's got one of the strongest ones. Your best bet is to ult him and time the ult so that you proc right when he activates his. You'll be healing for 5 seconds as he is invulnerable. Bonus points if you have riposte up, in which case you can dodge some damage and heal up.

Otherwise, don't build glass cannon. Build tanky. No one can out glass cannon Trynd with his ult. Try and poke with Q when his vital is easily accessible. Use best judgement if it's wise to activate E and get the crit off, or if you should pull out before he has a chance to out trade you.

Because it's part of his kit, and has been since he was added to League.

There's a good reason for that, mainly that he doesn't offer anything else. He's a bad tank, he only has a slow, and isn't even very good at team fights.

All that is made up by his ability to duel and opponent and take towers.

Tryn is not a bad match up for fiora because he's predictable so just plan for it. Start with Cloth armor if you are feeling really passive or go with corrupting potion. Don't fight him till level 6 and farm under turret. Let him get aggressive cause then he'll tower dive you. Pop your ult, hit him with riposte and use your E. Save the Q to dash away when his ult goes off.

Also, when he engages, spam all your corruption potions and that will help burn him and out last his health till he's dead.
