As am I. I have found that the enemy surrendering early will leave me just short of an S often enough. It happens. Point is if you're just short, you were playing right. Rinse, repeat and eventually you will get it.

It's far easier on support than any other role honestly.

All you need to do is hog kills and ks everything. Then do nothing but farm for like 10 minutes. Then don't die.
Incorrect. I've gotten S rank without stooping to such tactics. With support it's about participating in as many of the team kills as possible, getting a small, but adequate amount of cs, warding and denying enemy vision. You honestly only need a couple of kills, though with enough assists you won't even need that.
To be honest though, you also need to be barely dying. On average i'll have the least amount of deaths on my team, and potentially enemy team.
