Dynamic Queue can be fixed with one simple checkbox

"Allow premades".

Making it essentially Solo Queue for people who want it, but without separating the playerbase into two queues. This way people who are OK with premades can be matched in both Dynamic games and Solo games, whatever is needed at the time.

If we don't want too many people to opt out of dynamic matchmaking to avoid just one of the problems (e.g. 4-man premades), make the full checkbox list customizable like this:

  • Allow full team premades (Can't uncheck if you're a 5 man premade)
  • Allow four-man premades (Can't uncheck if you're a 4 man premade, or 5)
  • Allow three-man premades (Can't uncheck if you're a 3-5 man premade)
  • Allow duos (Can't uncheck if you teamed up with other people)

Disallowing one of the options makes it unavailable for both sides. This means no teaming up with 4-man teams, for example.

Unchecking all 4 will give you a true solo queue, without even premade duos. To promote Dynamic Queue, allowing premades greater than your own may be rewarded with bonus IP or hextech loot.

Riot knows the solution. However, Riot also knows that their Dynamic Queue is garbage and they've said it's garbage. ........... BUT..... ........... They said themselves, if they bring Solo Queue back nobody will play DQ anymore.

Therefore, we are stuck swimming in the pool of their shit. Personal MMR means nothing because it is compared to team's MMR.

The only fix is uninstalling League of Legends.

Yes that would be good but only if they give separate rankings for solo players from that. I want to see how I perform when qued alone and be able to see how others do alone too. Right now it's way too ambiguous by mixing every queue configuration into one pointless ranking that tells you nothing.

Even if you do the checkbox, this system is still shitty. Prime example? Let's say you climbed to diamond; promos to masters. 4 of your teammates are not premades but they got carried to the same rank as you thanks to Dyn Q. How did any of those guys deserve the ranks they got? Literally in every solo q game, the only common denominator is you. You account for 20% of the team's contribution to win; sometimes that can be more. But overall there is a certain limit you can do alone. Dynamic queue benefits ranks you can solo carry yourself out of but hurts competition and fairness in actual competitive ranks where you are punished for every mistakes. Individual KDA per game means nothing; but even still over the course of thousands of games, your average KDA and your stats start to reflect on your actual skill level. For instance, if you're at the plat level and you average 10 deaths every game even the ones you stomp in, you probably play overly aggressive and feed a lot. And I mean really playing while not caring about what your KDA looks like. This will eventually generate the KDA you can bring out.

When you queue up as premade in 4 or 5 primarily (sometimes even 3) your entire team is the common denominator. Solo Q, when you have bad games it tests you even when you're on tilt or you hate your teammates to overcome those obstacles in being a great teammate. As premade this isn't true. You can have bad games and your teammates cover you in parts you are struggling in some games. In areas where you would have lost alone, you won because you have your premade friends who have played with you for dozens to hundreds of games; learning your weaknesses/strengths/tendencies/flaws. Dynamic Queue is Riot's answer to bad players who refused to improve how to play continue to complain and blame everything but themselves.
