Will camp changes make DUO jungle more or less viable

Seeing as counter jungling is the main way of punishing early ganks, it would make tactical sense to have two junglers. One can gank while the other defends opposite side jungle. It also normalizes the game because it would imply 3 solo lanes, rather than one duo. Additionally, given that the jungle role is about macro play, it makes more sense to put more cooperative aspects into that role. Thus DUO JUNGLE could be a good thing, in some ways.

Given these thoughts and regardless of if DUO JUNGLE is a good thing or not, will the changes to camps make DUO JUNGLE more or less viable? By this i mean the apparent increase in gold and EXP which is entailed by more mini raptors in that camp and the micro krugs which take one hit each to kill.

Personally, i think it will become slightly more viable. However, I dont think it will truly come into play until there is a sustained gold income camp inside the jungle. I think that without a gold source you can always take advantage of, pathing in DUO JUNGLE teams becomes too complicated.

To illustrate the point. Imagine that there was an ant hill instead of gromp. So intead of one big monster, there would be a bunch of ants running around and you would have to waste time running around dpsing them. Advantageously, the jungler on this side of the map would be able to camp this side of the jungle, constantly clearing the ants whilst waiting for wolves or blue buff to spawn from when the other jungler cleared it. So they would be protecting that territory from enemy invades without sacrificing gold income. And then they could come out and give a gank when the time was right or farm the camps when they spawn. The important thing is that they arent 100% wasting time cause their partner jungler cleared every single camp.

As far as balance is concerned, you dont want the jungle to potentially give more gold per second than a lane does. This change wouldnt need to upset that. From a gameplay standpoint, you know that farming ants is probably going to not be very fun. So you dont want this to be an overly important camp. From a design standpoint, you know that the duo lanes are not normal. They are harder to balance. ITs also somewhat unfair to force someone to depend on the other player during every point in the game.

Bot will have a single person against the duo, then the jungler ganks making it a 1 v 3. Duo Jungle might work but that's the first problem I come across

Just play Caitlyn or Urgot and farm from miles away. Heck, now that I think about it, if we are as ballsy as to go duo jungle, why we need a Marksman Bottom Lane? We could just send some Artillery Mage or giga-Tank Bottom. Send in Jayce or Veigar. They can farm from 900+ units away and can stall like crazy.

And when both junglers gank top it will be 1v3 as well. so there is parity. And when they gank mid. Or if they invade and find enemy jungler alone working camps.

I actually used to do this in past Seasons. What usually ended up happening was using a hyper gank champion plus a champion you don't want to be anywhere near early game. For example: LeeSin + Darius Shaco + Pantheon Nidalee + Olaf
