Riot plz stop overreacting with unnecessary champion nerfs - Jayce

As we can see in the last 2 set of OGN games, Jayce is no longer must pick/ban in Korea. Hes not highly contested in Solo queue either. Lissandra is the new FOTM.

The pre season changes are new, the meta is evolving and players are adapting. Please give things time before rushing to make changes that no longer become necessary a couple weeks later because the meta shifts by itself. You did the same thing with Yasuo, nerf after nerf even after his popularity in both competitive and solo queue had already massively decreased.

The Jayce W nerfs are not necessary and will serve only to completely remove him from viability. Your balance team needs to be patient and make sure changes are really needed, too many times you rush to changes and completely destroy champions.

It is interesting that you say that.

Riot has been nerfing over and over again for multiple patches in a row. So many champions have been hit by various kinds of nerfs that what is becoming strong in this game are the few champions who have gone the longest without actually being nerfed.

Because of the way Riot balances, strength usually comes from the removal of competition.

Lissandra is strong now. And she is strong, not because she was directly buffed (she was changed, I won't concede that they were buffs so much as alterations) but because over time Riven, Mundo, Nidalee, Renekton, Jax and now Jayce have been nerfed.

To be clear, I am not saying that nerfing is not a reliable way of game balance.

I'm just commenting that some of the strongest champions make the most progress in the meta....by standing still.

Pretty much, yeah. The glory days of Corki, then he was nerfed. Then he went untouched, because the flavor champions after his nerfing wrecked him. Then, over time, those flavor champions got nerfed and Corki, who stood still because he was rarely used, came out strong yet again despite no buffs. As an example, anyway, there are many, many other champions who've done the same. My favorite part is the people saying "See! I told you they were strong the whole time!" right after a champ becomes "OP" (read: actually just flavor of the month, very rarely is there anyone actually OP). The fact is: usually, no they weren't. Not until their competition got knocked down so hard they couldn't compete with them, anyway.

even prior to these nerfs when ever i took lissandra top, i would just completely shit all over these champions, anytime they went to engage, w+q walk away. once i got enough mana i would be able to clear much faster then them. my jungler coming to gank? ult+ignite annnnnd kill usually. their jungler coming to gank? w towards a side of a wall and juke them. the only problem i see with lissandra any mages (and gnar) absolutely craps on her if she in lane with them.

also lissandra was nerfed so much which is why she isn't played like she use to be. now other champions are back at her level

If I understand they changed his W so it can no longer be stacked infinitely. Technically, it still has the same cool downs if used as intended.

Just because less people pick or ban that champion doesn't mean that they are no longer viable. Jayce will still be a better option compared to the majority of the top and mid laners.

LOL they nerfed sona and probably will nerf sona again (based on pbe) even though, she wasn't popular in s4 world, not in OGN too, no one have QQ'ed about sona (aside from aram), and definitely not FotM. And in the patch notes they said they want sona more focused on auras than spamming skills, yet did no buff to her aura as compensation.
