"I wanna practice in normals so i can get better to face players of my rank"

D5 Darius main on the enemy team (What happened to pre mades having to get harder opponents? Bc they had a three man and I was soloing :/ ) I also recall a d5 player in my ranked flex games but who fucking cares bc its flex its going to be uneven regardless. God bless you rito. For seeing I'm on a losing streak repeatedly so what a better way than to throw me into a bigger fucking hell hole :^) Btw the darius was laning against an silver player. When I asked why he didn't have mercy he said "id never go easier on anyone who is lower elo than me" Are all diamond players assholes? askin for a friend

When did I say that? lmfao what

"I wanna practice in normals so i can get better to face players of my rank"

Succubús GF1 votes

The point was practicing. You want to go against diamond players and just magically get better? Sure ill believe it when pigs fly. Almost like you cant read

of my rank

LostFr0st1 votes

Why face players of your rank to practice? If you wanna climb, you wanna face better players not ones that are worse than you.

Succubús GF1 votes

So you can solidify that you are better so your mmr can raise? I want an equal standing and if it gets to a point where I'm stomping then my mmr will raise to equal out again? This seems like common sense

LostFr0st1 votes

You won't magically learn to stomp facing players your rank though... Players of the same skill won't punish your mistakes, so you'll just keep them and when you rank up you'll get pushed right back down again.

Succubús GF1 votes

You probably will and even if you are right, 3-4 whole divisions above isn't going to teach you shit. As a gold player when I go against someone plat, I for the most part am okay with it because I can definitely learn a few things, but diamond? That's an entire different world

LostFr0st2 votes

I think the player would be more of an ass if he didn't take it seriously vs the silver player.

Succubús GF1 votes

He was literally diving her repeatedly though. Like not a care in the world.

LostFr0st1 votes

Yup. That's what happens. If the silver player keeps facing that they will get hella better very fast. Either they'll start winning and keep those opponents or their mmr will adjust and start facing plats then golds.

Succubús GF1 votes

That's literally garbage though? The silver player wont get better get curb stomped repeatedly. That just doesn't happen. The diamond players mmr was d4. The irelia wasn't even ranked according to op.gg and my mmr is silver so like what the fuck? Nobody wants to get fucking curb stomped and you know it? How would you feel if you went up against a masters player on your account? I cant imagine youd be very happy or enjoy the game at all

LostFr0st1 votes

Or they could realize not to go anywhere near Darius when they're ahead and just be happy if they can get exp. Yes, the silver player will get better and learn what works to survive.

Unranked=Silver. And normal MMR is separate from ranked MMR.

How would you feel if you went up against a masters player on your account?

When I duo with my brother in norms that's exactly what'll happen. He has played so many normals and he started in season 3 so his normal MMR sits up there with high diamond and Master-tier players.

I duo with him in flex (I'm silver) and I get a high Plat or low Diamond in my lane nearly every single game. I'm happy if I'm even on levels and down only 20-30cs. Even more so if I only die once. Yeah it's a pain in the ass, I won't deny that, but I don't think it's impossible to learn in that environment.

Edit: It would really help if you sit down and watch the replay of the game. You'll learn a ton by doing that.

Darius would literally flash on the irelia under turret. There was nothing she could've done? You wanted her to go afk? She might as well keep trying. As someone who was bronze before this season and now that I'm gold I can really say a learned so little from getting curbstomped. However, I did learn a lot through videos. Just not sure how you are going to justify the fairness of an unranked player versus a diamond player, as that was my main topic

LostFr0st1 votes

What I'm saying is that Irelia should know that Flash+pull was a possibility and not be in range of it. Being smart and in exp range (if possible) does not equal being afk.

Being barely in exp range is the only way to keep trying without giving Darius more snowball.

As for the "fairness" that's subjective. Either the silver plays a ton of normals so their MMR is high or the Diamond doesn't play much normals (since they need to grind ranked) and their normal MMR is low. So, inevitably they get matched together.

The reason normal MMR and ranked MMRs are separate is so that Diamonds can have somewhere to practice their off-roles without a 30+ minute queue.

I would love the practice against diamonds but I only get plats on enemy side or my side.

Succubús GF1 votes

You are already almost plat though so that makes sense. The person's op,gg declared they weren't even ranked
