Is Fiddlesticks a good champion? Is he just situational?

His winrate isn't low but every Fiddle I've ever played with gets flamed by teammates so hard. Same with champions like

His jungle is garbage because he can't clear in any amount reasonable time, and support is meh because your poke ruins wave control, but mid is mad strong. Waveclear is a bit meh, so some champs can shove you into tower till you get protobelt, but otherwise you have good kill pressure, relative gank safety due to fear, and terrifying sidelane roams with ult.

I just came back from playing Fiddle mid, he is very strong there. + Surprisingly great roams

Fiddlesticks is a fun champ in play and concept, but is in a pretty horrible place as far as fitting into a normal meta.

He is team reliant... if the team has proper vision control and good lockdown/cleanup potential, he's very strong. He's also a powerful anti-assassin: he bullies them early in lane, and can peel for the adc later if his ult is down.

He easily outranges burst mages with E and does well with mr items ( item 3001 item 3065 item 3102 ), but poke mages and strong pushers make his life miserable: they safely push him (he's terrible at clearing waves under tower) and punish him hard whenever he tries to roam.

The jungle instead is where he's suffering right now... his clear is safe but slow, and he can't really gank early or resist invades.

He is actually very strong against invades, with the exception of champs like lee sin, shyvana or shaco, basically no one can outduel him, and hes ALWAYS healthy in the jungle thanks to drain But yeah, hes in a bad spot rn and requires his team to work with him

Personally think he has a garbage kit. Your team will need heavy cc or the enemy will need to be morons who can’t work around fog of war so you can ult in.
