When it boils down to it, this is why most people hate Zed and Yasuo
Because they're mad they can't click on melee champions from range and automatically win.

Zed has two gap closers and often builds yommu and botrk. Now that qss no longer removes Zed ultimate, it really is quite hard to stay alive as an ADC, if you do not have a support doing there job. Yasuo has a windwall that nullifys all projectiles and can dash through the front line if they allow hiim. He can also blink on to targets with his ultimate. EDIT: Miss spelled something.

Wow you named their strengths without considering their weaknesses
I can do the same thing about any champion, go ahead and name them
Well I mean, if you want me to say there weaknesses I can. 1.) Zed rely's on his ultimate quite a bit to kill an ADC, especially in the late game. But he could kill an adc without the ultimate if he gets a clean combo off. 2.) Exhaust hurts a lot. Also things like Sterak and GA. ADCs could build that against Zed. 3.) A good support > good Zed. Champions like Janna were practically made to counter champions like Zed.
Yasuo: 1.) He is melee 2.) Windwall is useless against champions without projectiles 3.) Quite squishy 4.) Not that mobile in a 1 v 1, if there are no minions around. Tank yasuo does eliminate a lot of these problems but it got nerfed this patch.

Ok good, now let's compare those weaknesses to the strengths you just listed and then realize that both of these champions are ruined with just a little bit of focus and
. And they both have to be in the middle of your team to do damage.
Does an ADC usually carry exhaust? No. A lot of supports also often don't know how to actually play support so it can be hard to stay alive as an ADC. Also you are denied the option of split pushing on ADC because Zed can easily kill you if you are caught out.
LOOOOOL
I like how this guy went from making really good threads with arguments to troll shitposts lol.

I'm not shitposting or trolling. At its core, it's true and there's nothing you can really argue.
No, it's really not.
All of those would be more reasonable than saying this is a melee vs ranged thing.
No, it's really not.
- You could argue the frustration is being unable to fight back.
- You could argue the frustration is having mechanics that allow them ways out of situations they'd otherwise die in.
- You could even argue that smurfs favor these champions, and a high skill cap champ in the hands of a smurf is what causes the frustration.

I can take these same points and tell you that in most match ups vs a ranged champion as a melee, this is how you end up feeling.
As for smurfs, I mean, sure you aren't wrong that typically they play these champions but I've seen plenty of smurfs who play LB, Ahri, Azir, etc.
A wise man once said:
Top lane is where melee champions complain about range champions. Mid lane is where ranged champions complain about melee champions.
Yasuo and Zed leave their opponents often feeling cheated in much the same way that LeBlanc, Fizz, and Ekko do, particularly if they snowball ahead. It's really a common factor with the Assassin class as a whole (similar complaints come up with Kat, Diana, and Akali when they're strong), and hopefully will be improved with the Assassin update.
Myself... eh, I play
, so pretty much everyone is melee range compared to me :P I also get to ignore a lot of the Yasuo frustration, since he can only block one of my abilities.

This. For me, who plays mostly melee champions. It is the frustrating mechanics and overall design that basically just lets these champions go 'yeah. I am just better than you'.
And I hope the sorry ass OP realizes that even Diamond+ players hate playing against Yasuo, not just low rank people like me who prefer easier champions. Everyone except Yasuo players hate Yasuo because his design is just toxic. I have no problem with other assassins. Only Yasuo. He's just an annoying as shit design.
IMO he's not completely wrong. Similar to why people hate Juggernauts - they're mad they can't dogpile on someone and mash every button and win.
I'm gonna get downvoted.
yea you are. classic Hate Your Daddy
tbh you are pretty right.
Yeah. When playing against Yasuo people also have to think about when to use their abilities instead of face smashing their keyboards and killing things from the fog of war which upsets people.
i still rather play vs the OLD
then
its not so much they're op (Minus tank builds) but assassins in general people hate, because they're mean to _Kill you _
If you want to play a carry, you gotta learn to fight assassins, I play assassins a bit myself, so when I do have to adc, respect their shit, and counterbuild if you have to.
even if its not optimal, I sometimes grab
as an ad now, namely because surviving is also being durable currently, and those two items give stats a lot of ads would want ( Minus the ones that scale with crit.) and even then some of them can build it
I dunno, maybe I'm spewing complete garbage.

Honestly, GA is pretty good and just making sure your support exhausts them is usually all you need
