Jungle is Probably the Most Anti Fun and Punishing Role to Play Right Now
Look I'm not here to baby rage "oh jungle is so bad Riot you suck" but I am going to show my displeasure with the role in it's current state.
Jungle as a role requires a high self-esteem since you are 80% of the time the first person to be blamed for put on a spike. Other 19% is probably botlane and 1% being other lanes. ( obviously not a legitimate statistic but it do feel that way ) This in of itself makes it hard to have any fun in this role and I'm going to make it clear that this is the communities fault not Riots. You're probably going to say "It's been that way for years man what's your point?" Don't worry this will all make sense.
With the XP changes make it so all you have to do is fuck the jungler over once and they are forever behind unless by some miracle. Getting fucked over once pretty much dooms you for the rest of the game that not even AFK farming will be enough to let you catch up. So you're forced to gank while being weak and probably end up getting your shit kicked in because laners are levels up with on you and likely have stronger items early. If you die on said gank it will set back even further which on paper makes sense it should set you back, but the problem is that there is almost no way you're catching back up even if you play safer and try to farm up.
Since you will be behind for the rest of the game this makes objectives REALLY REALLY difficult to take unless your laners can carry the game because thats all you can pray for. However if they don't guess who the one to blame... Its going to be the jungler because they don't realize how weak you are. NOW NOW before you think that the I think jungler has no fault you're wrong. It is still just as much as their fault as it is the laners you lost the game but the problem here is that that one fuck up causes a domino effect to losing the game.
This is too punishing you should always be expected to play your best but you should never be expected to play perfectly and thats what jungle expects of you right now. That's not fun game play for not only the jungler but everyone else in the game.
Disclaimer I'm not saying other roles don't have their shitty sides
Toplane: Pretty much revolves around counter picking ( not fun ) ADC: Getting sneezed on causes you to die ( not fun ) Support: You get punished for completing you quest and get no gold income ( not fun ) Midlane: ( My weakest role knowledge so I cant give any insight so I'm not going to talk about something I don't understand well )
And PLEASE no bickering and bitching at each other I would like a civil discussion yelling at one another does change anyone's mind or help contribute to making League a better game.
