Why isn't tryndamere scheduled for some big time rework?

Mark Merryl (the previous or current CEO) is named Riot Tryndamere. I'm guessing that might have some sway there.

Hes not overpowered and hes played mostly by his mains, hes in same situation as udyr.

A part of me believes that he might get reworked after Nunu's rework is done and they figure out which champion deserves a rework.

Depends on the situation, after these ADC items changes hits live and Tryndamere gets nerfed (i feel like it will happen to be honest.) into oblivion because of it. He could be next in line for a Full Rework like

Who doesn't love getting crit 3 times at level 1?

He's functional, a bit of fun, and isn't completely unbalanceable, so that's probably why.

This champion can be the most annoying thing to face. I remember playing against him recently, at level 3, I tried to all in him as Jax, he has his full bar, so 35% crit, I bring him quite low, then he jumps on me and starts autoing me. Crits me once, I'm like YIKES, but it can happen, I keep fighting, crits me again, but I'm close to killing him now, so I keep fighting him, thinking that if he doesn't crit THREE TIMES IN A ROW AT 35%, I'll kill him. He then gets a third crit and kills me.

That's like so freaking stupid. This bad RNG just gave him a free kill essentially and then, the lane went downhill.

Honestly, tryndamere isn't balanced but at the same time, he is not overpowered. In fact, he is underpowered. All the opponent has to do is equip the colossus rune, build thornmail, frozen heart, or randuin's and then put on some tabi's and tryndamere can't fight. All opponent's have to do is build tabi's and tryndamere gets countered. Everybody pokes tryndamere out of lane in the early game making him useless in mid game only able to split feed push top and hope the enemy team is too occupied to stop his push. He has no counterplay to CC whatsoever. His escape isn't like tristana's or ezreal's where they can get stunned and still get away. In every fight, he is extremely easy to kite and predict. He is heavily reliant upon his team having pressure to successfully split or team fight. He has to stay on top of you to even damage you. Before you talk about how powerful Tryndamere is, you need to address the 100 mile, 1000 mixed damage with each auto and a 20 second cd invulnerability on Kayle.

To those reading through this: let's please take the time to realize that the thread criticizes Tryndamere for being unhealthy, not for being overpowered. The original post unfortunately doesn't really develop on this, but the core criticism most players have of Tryndamere is that his success is far too dependent on RNG, and there is very little to him that is actually interactive. Even when putting aside his terrible innate random crit, and crit dependence on E, another problem with Trynd is that his kit makes him splitpush the entire game, as he's terrible in teamfights, but exceedingly good at dueling most other top laners past a certain number of items, when his ultimate is up. There are layers upon layers of bad design that make Tryndamere quite possibly one of the least interactive champions in the game right now, as well as one of the least interesting champions to play. He needs a rework not simply to improve his counterplay, but also to truly let him fulfil his fantasy as an unkillable, rage-fuelled barbarian king with a big sword. Until then, he will remain a perma-splitpusher whose entire success revolves around cheesing at levels 1-2 and getting a lucky dice roll.

Someone saw the recent thread and spams for more upvotes by thriving on the huge misconception/fear that Conqueror + new IE will be broken op or smth on Trynd while no one knows what they're talking about at all...

No need of a rework, his ceiling is pretty high and playstyle is unique - they need to stop nerfing him indirectly (like right now), nerf other stuff and start balancing the game properly.

Maybe he's not scheduled for a rework because only Ryze cares about the champion named after himself. And Tryndamere doesn't give a rat's ass.

I appreciate that he's one of the very very few champions left in the game where perma-splitting is the best option for him. We need more strategic diversity back in the game. Every game revolving around teamfighting (COUGHPROTECTINGTHEADCCOUGH) gets a little boring
