Riven's also scales a hell of a lot more efficiently from missing hp

It also scales on an offense stat

It also deals her source of damage (Physical) so it will further have damage increased from LW

It also boosts a ridiculous amount of stats for a long duration

It also scales off of it's own passive %AD stat boost on activation

It also procs her passive twice making her deal even more damage on auto attack.

Garen's also deals magic damage

Garen's also has incredibly low starting damage

Garen's requires sight to be used

Garen's is single target and can be cancelled by moving out of sight, or blinking.

Tell me again why this exists?

Lets say both Garen and Riven decide to build the same build. Both build item 3071 followed by going full tank. Guess which champion will be dealing the most damage?

Guess what champion, among many others, can decimate Riven in lane and throughout the entirety of the game.

Because they're completely different champions. Garen is a tank, i think its more ridiculous he even does that much damage. Riven is a bruiser/carry. They're different roles.

Garen isn't a tank at all, he has no cc to even be considered a tank. Garen is a bruiser, he builds tanky but if he builds pure tank then have fun being completely ignored by the enemy team since you do nothing to them

While on the other hand, Garen's dealing magic damage allows him to build dfg and means an opponent can't just build armour against him

while on the other other hand, all an oppoonent has to do is build merc treads and he has no hope of killing anyone with his ult due to the low damage and no offense scaling. Not AP scaling, NO OFFENSE SCALING

Because Garen has the ridiculous late game passive and his ridiculous 30% damage and crowd control reduction W. Im not saying he is OP, but he has those. I personally wish Garen's spin to win was stronger at lower levels and a little bit overall, but yeah, he is strong.
