If You're Not Taking Teleport Top, You're Trolling Yourself and Your Team

With the new changes to turrets, early turret damage merits early gold and that means players need to be present in lane to either capitalize on that OR at least defend their turret.

With top lane so far out of the way and being a solo act, it is only logical to conclude that with the early gold threat that plating provides, the top laner NEEDS to do what they can to remain present in lane. And teleport is the spell that helps provide lane presence.

Who cares if you take ignite and get first kill? You'll have to walk back to lane while the enemy laner teleports in, chunks off a couple plates and out farms you in the process.

A lot of champion need early kills to snowball off their lead like renekton/ pantheon this will give them lane priority and be able to roam off that.

You don't NEED ignite to get early kills with the Croc. And you don't need to kill your opponent to be able to roam. I've had more success with TP Renekton than ignite Renekton (maybe I just suck tho... that's a possibility).

This can only happen if you don't manage your wave correctly and instead of pushing the wave a lil bit you just leave it. And even of the enemy somehow destroys your tower's plating by tp-ing (which is unlikely in the early game), that's even better for your team. TP has long-ass cd so it's much better in the long run.
