I have a better solution.

Bring back Magus

We had a mid lane smite Diana in the LCS. LaneGlaive is a bigger problem than just Ez.

But I feel like they should do more to make RuneGlaive more useful to Junglers. Not sure how though.

Gets popular for 2 weeks - "delete him"

Make it's AP scale off jungle kills. Like the old old AP jungle item did. Or make the on-hit % scale off jungle kills. Not as many as Sated requires, but enough to make it harder to fully use as a mid lanner.

Make Ez's W deal magic damage equal to his AP to minions. This gives him minimal waveclear. This damage does not apply it's base damage. Only the scaling damage.

The first change would probably be enough.

nerfing a jg item cuz its too strong on laners is the dumbest shit Ive ever heard of playing this game.

so junglers are only allowed waveclear in jungle mainly thanks to ez.

and junglers in the jungle actually jungling no longer get their next attack converted to magic damage, pretty much all thanks to ez.

you say not just ezreal, but champs like diana were abusing it in lane? for what? the aoe? diana already has 3 aoe's, and lich bane hits harder, that argument has no merit.
