The Varus nerfs only fixed half his problem. He still can't deal sustained DPS

5 things to know about Patch 7.6, the one with new Galio

Varus players have to rely on Q because Varus can't sustain damage with basic attacks. Varus can't kite at all. That's why nerfing his Q made his win rate drop over 6% from patch 7.4 to 7.5. It was so bad that even The Rift Herald pointed out in a column how badly that nerf gutted him. Once his Q got nerfed, he has nothing to fall back on. The other ADCs with no dashes or speed steroids ( Ashe and KogMaw ) get vison spells, much larger AoE slows and basic attack steroids that can actually be cast. They both even have longer attack range - Ashe has it all the time and Kog has it 50% of the time before buying any CDR.

Nerfing Varus' Q was like putting a band-aid across a gaping chest wound. Sure, one could argue that it technically helped but I think we can all agree that the job was left undone

I can careless I don't build varus using lethality build on him. I find it to be underwhelming boring not much da,age there.i didn't like using the caster build. So I like to go on hit hybrid. Sure say it's weird from the looks but the damage is amazing having burst and constant dps. My? To you is why do you care and why do you build him lethality if you don't like it

He has a teamfighting ultimate that can also be used to 1v1 assassins and melee champions in general. He also has massive ranged poke and a tank busting steroid. He has to have weaknesses somewhere, and that weakness is that if he gets jumped on by someone who makes it past his ult and slow field he generally just dies.
