What if all champs had 15% ~ base crit and crit's did 150% ~ damage?
Imo I think it would add more flavor to the game mechanic if crit was present from level 1, but did less damage.
Before I continue I'll state that I have very little idea how much bonus damage would need to be lowered to make way for more frequent critical strikes, perhaps 15% crit is worth more or less then 50% bonus damage at different stages of the game, champions, and with different builds, i.e. IE..
But Id guess for this to work the base crit would have to be between 10-15%, and the critical bonus damage between 50-75%, down from 100.
With this, all of the sudden small sources of crit from items like zeal/tri force, avarice/ghostblade are much more relevant with or without infinity edge.
I think this would open up a massive amount of build paths that would add strategic diversity to the game while improving on the faults of RNG crit mechanics.
If an ad champ builds no additional crit, they will have a 15% chance to do 50% more damage ont hat attack, which is much less than 100% so it's not as impactful when they do not crit.
Of course some champs may/will require tuning to adapt, like tryndamere/pantheon, and I believe this can easily be done(faith in the dev's).
Like I said I don't know the exact balance needed to make this work but I believe in the idea of reworking crits period and hope it inspires change.

wanna suck your d!@& for saying this, but no, bad idea...
