And theres some ppl saying "it isnt a tank meta", literally almost every tank in the game is seeing competitive play, and multiple are picked per team, you cant even say anymore "tanks are weak nobody plays malphite!!!!!" anymore lmao.

Yes, ppl only play tanks in lcs because of lethality, yet the only champs that build lethality on lcs are jayce and possibly jhin/mf.

In general people are really misusing meta when talking about lethality items atm. If it was you would see multiple lethality champions in pro play and we just aren't because it's not effective enough.

Tank meta is just caused by assassin meta, which was caused by lethality changes which where done because ADCs and mages were too strong after season 6 which happened because juggernauts were too strong after season 5 which were introduced because the game had gotten stale after lane swap meta and champs like Darius had to be differentiated from champs like maokai in terms of kit focus and itemization exclusively helpful for them.

You might see Jayce build duskblade to use as a ward detector and because he can smash peeps with it. Also because he's a bit ridiculous. You'd be lucky to see more than that.
It's always a tank meta in the LCS. It's just a question of 1-2 tank average meta or 2-3 tank average meta. We're in the later.
