Reminder that Jungle isn't the Reason You Fed

When you're in lane, it's your job not to die in lane. If you died in lane. It's on you. Not the jungle. The jungle is not your baby sitter. You made a mistake, not your jungle. Blaming the jungle for your mistakes is not going to make the jungle want to help you. The jungle will become annoyed and not want to help you. Insulting the jungle will not make you play better and it won't make the jungle play better. Insulting the jungle, in fact, will only likely result in the offender being reported. And continuing to die in lane will not make the jungle want to help you. Instead, the jungle will do all they can to avoid dying to the threat you created for your team when you died to it repeatedly.

In all honesty I don't feel responsible for my death when I get mid and jungle sitting in one of the side bushes in top lane, and die to a three man gank for trying to cs just outside my tower.

I'm not going to blame the jungler for that, but I wouldn't say that's exactly my fault. I will get cranky about it, but only when our jungle/mid isn't doing something else somewhere on the map.

I say that as a person who has mained every role in the game at one point in time. So I understand the frustrations of a laner when they feel a jungler isn't having enough impact on the map. I also understand the frustrations of a jungler when your laners are dying solo to their enemy laner(s) and then scream at the jungler for it.

No MIA pings from lanes are pretty much the only thing I'll blame people for, but if I die to that it's not entirely their fault either.

From both sides of the coin learning that there's always something that you could be doing better is how you improve. Top laner dies solo, could you as a jungler have been there to tip that matchup into your side's favor? The answer is usually yeah you probably could have. So while it's not your fault, you could have probably prevented it.

Don't see the reason for the downvote. He's right.

It's not the jungler's fault if a lane feeds. However, if the enemy jungler is exerting pressure and your own jungler isn't at least trying to counter it, then your team is at a significant disadvantage.

I appreciate the acknowledgement, some people just don't like being told that they're wrong, or I guess in this case that it's not as simple as some people think it is.
